676. Chungheijung : Hi! My birth name is Chung Hei-Jung, I am born on February 3rd 2001 in Daegu and was adopted May 30th the same year in Canada. My birth mom’s name ( in my adoption papers ) is Lee Min Jin and grandmother’s Lim or Um Soon Hee. I know we were from the mountains and my parents were 17-18. I think I might have an older brother and I really hope to find him.

677. KarenRobertson : Elizabeth, Ville Marie Social Services, Batshaw, Montreal, mother was 33 years old

678. Christopherworsham : You were in upstate NY in 1968-71. You met my mother, an American woman from the south, while she was attending college. In September 1971 she became pregnant with your child. Because of her familiy’s Catholic background, she wouldn’t have an abortion - but could not remain in the family if she had a child out of wedlock. You two parted ways and she returned home, pregnant. She met a gay man who agreed to marry her and were promptly married. I was born on May 20, 1972. You visited me in the Midwest when I was 3 or 4 for a brief period. I believe you were living in either Montreal, Quebec City or Laval at the time.

679. Kuwitzky : Born March 26, 1965 at 9:10. 6 lbs, 5 oz. Quebec City. Birth Location: Miséricorde hospital, Quebec City. Christened on March 27th, 1965 at Creche St. Vincent de Paul. Confided for adoption on: June 9th, 1966 Legally adopted on December 14th, 1966

681. Chelseejones : I am looking for Duane Grantly Forde I am his sister He just turned 34 yesterday

682. AnitaVerde : I’m searching information on my great grandmother. I’ve found a quick note that said she was adopted and have been searching for answers for my mom and her siblings since. My grandfather has passed away and he had very little information on his mom to share since he was a toddler when he was taken from her and never saw her again. We’re trying to piece together pieces of our history to hopefully bring reconcelliation for our family as a whole.

683. AnethaMarieCobb : Marie Claire adopted name Charbonneau born 26 Sep 1927 Montreal, Canada died 13 Aug 1999 in Biloxi, Mississippi, USA. Neal Albert Charbonneau born 24 Jul 1932 Montreal, Canada died 10 Oct 2014 Huntington Beach, California, USA. Adopted parents, Joseph Alfred Raoul Charbonneau and Marie Brigette Dunn.

684. Bregittecarpentier52 : My mother’s name is Ginette Tremblay. At the time of birth, the legal age was 21 years old so she was 17 years old and her mother sing him up for adoption. His was born in the years of 1968 or 1969. I do not know the month do I do know that it was at the Maisonneuve Rosemont Hospital in Montreal, Quebec.

685. RaptureReady : My mother Carole was born in 1944 and adopted by the McNeill’s presumably from La Creche de la Misericorde in Montreal sometime maybe in 1945-46. She was raised as an only child. I am her daughter doing a family tree on Ancestry.ca and may be related in some way to Fortin’s and Rogers’ and Plante’s by DNA, I have no idea how. I’d like to know where we fit in a tree that has me confused.

686. Nurseonwheels : Looking on behalf of my husband. He was the last child born to the family. There were older sibling, 5 I think. The adoption happened in Montreal. He was btwn 4-6 months old when adopted. Had a brother named Gordon. Mother’s husband was in the military. I suspect that husband was not his biological father. Name at birth was Hubert Hamblin

687. Sarahxoxgibson : Searching for my mother’s birth parents , or any potential biological relatives. My mom was born November 14th 1962 to a 19 year old in Quebec, Canada. I’ve heard the adoption went through Montreal Social Services, and that the 19 year old birth mother may have been a part of New Brunswick’s United Church. The adoptive parents were Levi & Betty Pauley of Montreal , Quebec , but they also would have been members of the NB United Church as they split their time between NB & Quebec.

688. Pandajelly : Born at the Catherine Booth Hospital in NDG, last name was MURRAY. Was never officially adopted, only given to my ‘adopted’ mother from the time I was born. Although my birth certificate and baptism form has my birth mothers name listed as Marla Murray. Allegedly my birth mother worked at the hospital with my adoptive mother Ethel. I don’t expect that either of my birth parents would still be alive today, although I am looking for information about wether the story I’ve been told is true. I was raised catholic but recent DNA test results have shown I am Jewish.

689. Bregittecarpentier52 : My mother’s name is Ginette Tremblay at the time of birth. Now she is married to Gilles Carpentier. He is not the birth father of my lost sibling.

690. Jeannetrip : Adopted in Sherbrooke through Catholic charity. Adoptive parents were from Manhattan, NYC.
