I have never had a birth certificate but have learned my birth mother’s name Joan Hawley. I was five and a half months old when adopted. That’s all I have.

The adoption most likely happened in SD through the Catholic adoption agency. I believe that baby was a male with a possible name of Steve (not confirmed) I worked for her dad on a farm within 15 miles from Parkston‚ we developed a relationship I was 20 or 21 mother was 16 or younger.
