1698. Phendrixwahrer : I am searching for my adopted daughter who was born in Myrtle Beach‚ S.C. at Grand Strand General Hospital on‚ or after Nov.3rd of 1978. The adoption was handled by Atty.Harry Pavilack of Myrtle Beach and my OB+GYN at the time was Dr. Sam Harris in Myrtle Beach‚ whom I’m certain‚ has passed away. The adoption was definitely handled in M.B‚ S.C.
but I was told the adoptive parents were from up North‚ suggesting Philadelphia or Pittsburgh. I learned later from an attorney associated with Pavilack Law Firm‚ that the adoptive parents were from up North alright‚ North Myrtle Beach‚ S.C.!! I also know that the adoption papers were supposed to have a stipulation for the adoptive parents‚ who would inform the child of the adoption‚ no later than the age of 18‚ but when they felt the child was ready to be told this truth. I have no way to verify this for certain‚ but I have prayed for answers. I have had no other children‚ and I truly want to meet her if she is willing. Both of my parents are deceased‚ but my family members are in full support of my quest‚ so I will continue to search and pray. All paperwork would have my maiden name of Margaret S.Hendrick‚ but I have always went by the nickname Peggy Sue. The father was from Conway‚ S.C. and his name was Donnie Gasque.
1702. Laurie45 : Mother Lillian Patricia Padgett Avant gave up a son for adoption in Columbia South Carolina. Not sure of year 66 or 67. Don’t know Date of birth. We think private adoption. She was a single mom. The mom is deceased baby would be nephew.
1703. Kfreeman826 : Hi! I was always told I had a half older brother from my dad Archie and his high school sweetheart Tammy. The baby was a male and was given up for adoption by the mom. They were in high school together in Charleston SC. The baby would have been born in the 80s before 1986. I was told he was adopted by a family in Columbia SC but I’m not 100% sure. I do know that my dad and his girlfriend were teens and that is why he was placed. My dad has always stated that the baby resulted from an affair his girlfriend had and therefore not his but I’ve heard that I looked just like the baby when I was born. And I look like my dad soooo…haha! Anyways‚ this may be a shot in the dark and it may not result in anything but I would regret it if I never tried!
