436. Tracirichard : I am trying to help a good friend find her birth mother.
My friends name is Harriett (Hope) Hydrick Schmieler. She was born in Columbia, SC on December 17, 1969. We have located her father via 23andme however he was in college and it was the late sixties and not sure of who her mother is or refuses to give up any information.
Only information given to Hope-Adopted by Kenneth and Marie (Porter) Hydrick four days later. I was told by my father that my biological mother was 17 years old. (Most likely born around 1952)
Maternal haplogroup is J1c3c.
I loaded on 23andme all the relatives that Hope Hydrick Schmieler and Bill Porter have in common and then deleted the from Hopes relatives in hopes of getting leads to her mother side.
Relatives in common between Harriett Hope Hydrick Schmieler and Bill Porter. I believe Grace Washburn listed below is the only closely 23andme DNA relative on her maternal side if I am reading it correctly.
438. Spow : I would never take a child from their parents. I would never interfere with a family life if I am not welcome. I gave up my son for adoption in July 1988 at birth with the intention of seeing him again. I was supposed to be contacted by the new parents. this is what I was told by the dss worker Sheri Smith. I was tricked. I was sick, poor and broke. The Dss woman took advantage of me. I hope my son was well taken care of and loved. Since then I had two other children, they know about my son. we all wish that we could one day meet him.

448. Lawrencemiller1980 : My name is Lawrence Clifford Miller Jr my dad Lawrence Clifford Miller is the adopted. I’m his son. All I know is my adopted grand parents names were Odell Miller and Arleatha Miller and my dad had there last name. They had him from a infant and they moved here from South Carolina. Not sure weather he was adopted in Maryland were they raised him or South Carolina were they moved from. Dad suffers from drug addiction I believe because of unanswered truths. I would like to meet my grand parents and family I think it would do both of there hearts well if there still living to get the closure they need for everyone to heal.
