Mother reportedly wanted to pursue a nursing degree. I believe the grandfather was a minister. Nalford04 : Im almost postive that the child was born in South Carolina and takin by the state and placed for adoption in the mid to late 70’s....how ever there has been some mention of a unwed mothers home in north carolina. I think the babies name was Joshua Threatt at the time of birth. The birth Mother was Kay Lynn Sims.
