Johnny and Diane had another daughter named Melissa Ann McGarity 11/10/1984‚ a year before baby girl McGarity was born‚ now Melissa Adkins‚ living in Norwood‚ NC. Baby Girl McGarity was born in either sc‚ or Charlotte nc on November 15 or 16 1985 and was adopted through open adoption by a family from New York. The attorney used is no longer in business.

Tracysheppard79 : Only information I have about baby girl McGarity is that she was born in York‚ York County‚ South Carolina on November 15‚ 1985 to Diane Kay Sheppard Allen Abdin and Johnny Wilson McGarity. An attorney in York‚ SC handled the adoption and it was supposed to be an open adoption. The attorney’s office is closed down so we have no idea how to find the information anymore.

His name was not put on the birth certificate to protect his family.
