1772. Classytbyrd : Looking for my oldest cousin name we were given was Bonnie Maxine. Supposedly given to a Mrs. Carter running a boarding house in South/North Carolina unsure which it would have been a town with a Trailways bus station. My Aunt Elaine was a runaway pregnant teen. The baby was born before grand dad was able to find her. Most of our family is deceased now.

I was adopted into the wonderful family of Susan and Freeman Sturgis‚ with one brother‚ Will Sturgis. I love my family‚ but would really love to find out where I come from.
1780. Stephen1072 : I was born in Florence SC. My adoption was already in progress when I was born. My name at birth was Baby John. Senator John D Long was involved in my adoption and I was adopted by wonderful parents from Union SC who have recently passed away. Birthday was 3/16/1972. Birth certificate says Baby John 3/16/1072 at the top and I always thought that was unusual for one of the most well known bible verses ever to be at the top of my birth certificate.

I was adopted by a couple in CT around 6 months of age after being in a foster family since shortly after birth.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
