1202. MSHoppmann : My sister was born 24 October 1972 in a hospital in Greenville, SC . She came home to us ( her adopted family) on 27 October. It was a private adoption through the Episcopal Church. Her birth mother was a 19 year old college student, possibly with red hair. The Bishop at the time approached my parents about adopting the baby. We believe that her birth mother may be a nurse in Chattanooga, TN. .Thank you.
1203. RachelinDallas : I have a photo from 1949 of a little boy. My grandmother wrote on it: "Robert Lee Yarbrough. Warren’s son." My father, Warren Yarbrough, sowed a lot of wild oats while married and not. I don’t think little Robert was adopted, but he might have been by a subsequent mother’s husband. Still he looks to have been old enough in the photo to know what his name was. Warren went on to remarry at least three times that we know of, although we don’t know if he was married to little Robert’s mother. He fathered a son in 1957 also named Robert Lee Yarbrough, who is still alive. I would love to meet and/or know more about this former little boy if he would care to reach out. Perhaps if he’s always needed some comfort about his father abandoning him, I can provide it.
1204. MSHoppmann : Hi. Looking for a family member of Tara P Gilmore, currently living in Charlotte, NC. We are hoping to find some family health history for a girl born and adopted in Greenville, SC, in 1972.
1206. Musicbecky69 : The child was born in Charleston, South Carolina. I went through an agency out of Columbia, S. C.
I stayed in a Crittenden home from June until my son was born in October 19 of 1969. The only persons name involved was a Mrs. Johns (I think) who was in charge of the home in Charleston in St. Margaret Street. I remember walking down to tge park which I think was the Citidel. Not sure, but remember how beautiful it was. Please help me find this son.

If you can find this person it will be my only living family member left. I am 69 years old and have outlived my other child, both parents and my husband. Please find this child.
On his birth certificate he was born Charles Joseph Witmer.
1207. BJ84 : Nathan was born at home unbeknown to other family members. His mom had given birth the year before to another child, Nathan’s full brother. He had older half siblings in the home, a sister and brother, as well as two half brothers of his father.
He was born in St. Matthews, SC and adopted through Children Unlimited in Columbia, SC. He went to foster care from the hospital and was placed for adoption a month later.
1209. Nrowland22019 : My birth mothers name is Brenda faye mauldin born may 12, 1959. Me and my other 2 sisters were adopted as well but the sister we are searching for was born a few years before me, I myself was born in 1987. Im not certain on her birth year but a family member shared with me she believes she was born in 1982. My bio mom said her name is Cynthia williamson, I’ve also been told to search her using my moms maiden last name mauldin.
1210. Stacyl72 : Baby boy was born to Tyler Sheraton Lee and Abby Colvin‚ delivered by Dr Janice L Bacon‚ at either Richland Memorial or Lexington hospital.
1211. Janievl : On March 15, 1965, my grandmother gave birth to a baby that was immediately put up for adoption. During a time when it was taboo to be pregnant and unwed, I feel that if my grandmother had had the means to provide and take care of child, she would have. My mother is eager to find the sibling that I she believes is out there. I do not have a lot of information to go on, but here’s what I do know:
The baby was born on March 15, 1965 in the Greer, SC or Greenville, SC area. The doctor who delivered the baby was Dr. Peeples. As soon as the baby was born, it was rushed away from my grandmother who never got to hold or see the baby. Also, from what I was told, the baby was a boy and my great-grandfather forced my grandmother to give the baby up.
1212. SarahnJoey : At birth he was giving the name William Daniel Mayo and I’m pretty sure that has changed. My mother’s maiden name is Margie Marie Mayo
1215. Joy77Gossett : I am told that I was born in Beaufort, SC and my birth certificate (a certified copy issued to my adoptive parents) lists Burton, SC as the county of birth. I’m beloved to have been born at home and taken to a nearby military hospital. I was in foster care for my first 8 weeks and then placed with my adoptive parents on 12/12/1977 but I believe the adoption was finalized in December of 1978.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
