1192. Stan64OscaR : His mother’s name was Helen Craig‚ daughter of John & Rebecca Craig of Stuart Road‚ Corby‚ Northamptonshire. Helen was born in Glasgow on 9th. August 1947 and passed away at Barton Seagrave on 13th.September 2013. I was never told of his existence until about 2 years ago‚ as Helen’s mother Rebecca was raised a Catholic I suspect that Helen’s son may have been handed over to the church. My reasoning for this that a birth certificate for him can’t be found.

My mum passed away 2 yrs ago and never mentioned this to me but mentioned it to my wife at the time and not to say anything. But having my wife talling to me about this im really keen on finding out who this person is. The nirth month and date of adoption i do not have a clue so what i picked maybe wrong.

Not sure she was adopted as she died in 2006 but did mention a very difficult childhood and in care was mentioned.

1199. Mjohnstone : My name is Marcella. My half-brother was born Paul Petty on December 1st 1965. I have obtained a copy of his birth certificate but I don’t know his adopted name. He was born at Redlands Hospital in Glasgow. His mother was my mother‚ Agnes Petty‚ who was born in 1946. She was single at the time‚ working as a seamstress. It is my understanding he and I have different biological fathers and no father is named on his birth certificate. I was born in 1967 and didn’t know of his existence until recently when my aunt told me in her final days. Apparently he reached out to my mother at some point when he was an adult but she did not choose to meet him. I would like to know him.
1200. Hevlam : My sister in law is trying to trace her twin sons that were adopted at birth in Edinburgh. They were called Kyle and Rory Lambert at birth and were adopted by a couple from scotland. The dad worked for the police force and we think they lived in falkirk.
