1187. Annieauch51 : I was born 12th April 1960 put up for adoption to my knowledge i was called Diane by.my birth mother born in a Glasgow nursing home
1188. Bdewar : From what I have been told my birth mother was 18 in University at either New Castle or Edinburgh. From doing Ancestry I believe my fathers name was either Yannis Yannoulis or Manolis Yannoulis.
1189. Martineee123 : My biological mother was adopted in Edinburgh‚ Scotland in approx 1944 aged around 2 years old. She never knew her biological mother or father. She has passed away in 2007 but gave me her blessings to search. My mother Sandra Patricia Grant Waltham ( married name Jones) always used to say she was a ’barnardo child’..I do not know if her name was given to her at time of birth or when she was later adopted.
1190. Isobel66 : Just found out my brother was adopted thought he had died at birth.....
1191. Susie_mcg : Looking for my dad’s half sister who was adopted. He was born in 1957 and also put up for adoption. She was registered as Elizabeth Ann Fitzpatrick and was born at a Salvation Army location on Great Western Road in Glasgow. Her birth was registered in the district of Partick.
1192. Stan64OscaR : His mother’s name was Helen Craig‚ daughter of John & Rebecca Craig of Stuart Road‚ Corby‚ Northamptonshire. Helen was born in Glasgow on 9th. August 1947 and passed away at Barton Seagrave on 13th.September 2013. I was never told of his existence until about 2 years ago‚ as Helen’s mother Rebecca was raised a Catholic I suspect that Helen’s son may have been handed over to the church. My reasoning for this that a birth certificate for him can’t be found.
1193. Alanbrown573 : Born in blantyre..maybe in the house. Birth name might be dorothy but changed after being adopted. My mum passed away 2 yrs ago and never mentioned this to me but mentioned it to my wife at the time and not to say anything. But having my wife talling to me about this im really keen on finding out who this person is. The nirth month and date of adoption i do not have a clue so what i picked maybe wrong.
1194. Allanpaul61 : My mothers name was Catherine Morrison and birth fathers name was Daniel McNamara. I was born in the Paisley area.
1195. Jojo81 : I don’t know the month or or day of birth he was born in perthshire
1196. IrishGranny1917 : Tracing my granny - Margaret McMillan‚ her mother was Catherine McMillan. Can’t find birth certificate in Scotland for either and dna shows 80%Irish through paternal side. Not sure she was adopted as she died in 2006 but did mention a very difficult childhood and in care was mentioned.
1197. Maxinemedlock2407 : Hello ‚ I know my mum was adopted in 1941 by William Farquhar mudie and Elizabeth mudie but I’m trying to find where she was from birth 1936 until adopted in 1941
1198. RaymondCairney1971 : Born 1971 July 27 Name is Ross Glasgow Believe have 2 sisters Light blue/green eyes Dark hair
1199. Mjohnstone : My name is Marcella. My half-brother was born Paul Petty on December 1st 1965. I have obtained a copy of his birth certificate but I don’t know his adopted name. He was born at Redlands Hospital in Glasgow. His mother was my mother‚ Agnes Petty‚ who was born in 1946. She was single at the time‚ working as a seamstress. It is my understanding he and I have different biological fathers and no father is named on his birth certificate. I was born in 1967 and didn’t know of his existence until recently when my aunt told me in her final days. Apparently he reached out to my mother at some point when he was an adult but she did not choose to meet him. I would like to know him.
1200. Hevlam : My sister in law is trying to trace her twin sons that were adopted at birth in Edinburgh. They were called Kyle and Rory Lambert at birth and were adopted by a couple from scotland. The dad worked for the police force and we think they lived in falkirk.
