Cochrane4 : Birth was in The Queen Mother Hospital Glasgow, I think it was a Dr Willox, The Church of Scotland was taking care of the adoption from mother and baby home in Pollocksheilds Glasgow by a welfare lady named Mrs Child’s, as far as I can remember the child was going to a couple in Ayrshire (Kilmarnock ?), I don’t know why but I seem to think he was either in mining or the railway, I was only 15yrs at the time and didn’t get privy to any information.

490. HolliCM : I’m led to believe my brothers name was Paul and when he was adopted it was changed to John. It might have been the other way around. Either way his name should either be Paul or John.

I was adopted out to my aunt Betty my mum’s sister along with my younger brother and sister both off whom have a different father to me.
The only information I have for my dad is from my adopted mum who said she thinks his name was James Tierney who lived in Motherwell near the football club.
I was born in 1978 as far as I’m aware my birth father doesn’t know I exist.
