766. Carolyns1967 : My mother was adopted in Kincardineshire, Scotland December 1943 in Stonehaven, Kincardineshire to Alexander and Mina Malcolm. We think her BM family might be from Aberdeen. We think BF might be from Alton, Staffordshire England. My mother (Fay Malcolm) passed away July 2018 without ever finding out who her birth parents were. I have taken several DNA tests with a few sites as well as a couple of my siblings in hopes to find the birth family, but struggling to narrow the radius. Also, apparently my moms adoption file has been sealed for 100 years. Praying I will have a way to obtain before that. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I was born 18th September 1985 and my older brother Tommy was born 26th August 1984. I know very little other than my biological dad was from Glasgow area but biological mum may have been Irish.
774. SearchForTinney : I’m searching for my mum’s birth mother, she would love to meet her. From what we know her name was Elizabeth Tinney and she gave birth to my mum when she was 24. We think we was from around the Greenock area and the father was a man named John Hughes who was married to someone else at the time with 2 children, he was also 24 and we believe he had red hair, just like my mum.
We believe she was an auxiliary nurse and was short at 5"1.
We’ve been told she didn’t necessarily want to give her child up and after the birth went to a convent in England names the Good Shephard’s convent.
