It stated paemrents David and Elizabeth (née twaddle) my uncle thinks he was born in Ireland but on 1911 census it says Ayrshire. On looking on 1901 census his older brother henry is stated as henry cairns .Adopted son. On 1911 census he is henry Reid son .I cannot find his younger brothers Davids birth certificate either and wonder if all 3 were adopted .I need to find out what is a bit of a mystery now parents were married 29th December 1899 in saltcoats

My mum, before she died, had indicated that she would like to find her son, but repeated illnesses prevented her from doing so. My mums name at the time of the birth was Isobel Jean Smith, and she resided in Hamilton, Scotland.
