Her DOB was 10-09-1931

1086. Blonde2519 : Harry Smith - 18/06/2012 - 8lbs
Home Birth - Adopted within the year
I am your biological mother and am just looking to meet if you are willing to do so also‚ I have my reasons behind why you were put for adoption.
The biggest one is i could never give you the life you deserved‚ This way i made sure you had a family that could give you everything and more.
I hope thats how your experience has been‚ As i felt i had failed you the moment you arrived n the only good thing i done for you was that i gave another family something they could never have a child.
1088. Angela0501 : Hi I’m looking for my birth father his name is Andrew (Andy) Craig and he was from Paisley in Scotland. My birth mother was Rosemary Elliot and she sadly passed away last year. My birth name was Zoe. Both parents accepted paternity on my birth certificate.
1089. Beamerno1 : These questions are answered to the best of my ability. I am trying to trace my family history and know my grandfather (Alfred Wilkie - Born: 01/12/1912 in St Giles area of Edinburgh) was adpoted. I do not know who the adoptive parents were and I only know his birth mothers name (Mary Wilkie) but cant find any information about her except that she is listed as being a "Domestic Servant" on my grandfathers birth entry.
I have assumed that she gave him up at birth.
Any info on both would be gratefully received.
1093. Staf1968 : Looking to find my father. Was adopted and traced my mother but she has passed. There is no info about my father. I was born to a woman from kirkcaldy in 1968. She lived in Bellfield cresant where she lives with her mother and stepfather. There are no other relatives as far as I am aware. Her name was Isobel russel.
1094. Sabrine88 : My birth name was Sabrine Issmaeel‚ my birth father is Khaled a Kuwaiti Arab. I was born in Hull at the Maternity Hospital on Hedon Road. My adoption was through Humberside County Council and the Scottish Adoption Agency. I stayed with my foster family for 4 months.
1095. LemonBarley : Searching for my Auntie Her name at adoption we believe was Angela. Her mother’s name was Mary McDonald. Her father’s name is unknown to us. She was adopted at around the age of 3 years old (possibly slightly younger) and was born somewhere in Scotland. Her grandfather passed away when she was around 2 years old‚ which meant her grandmother and mother (who was being supported by her own parents at the time which was rare when having a baby out of wedlock in those days) were taken into the workhouses and unfortunately due to this Mary believed the best thing for her daughter was to have her adopted so she could live a better life. Unfortunately May passed away around the age of 43 and wasn’t able to give anyone any further information‚ we have searched through our own family records and the above information is all we know so some pieces may well be missing.
If this could be you or someone you know please get in touch we have done DNA tests on My Heritage also.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.

I have been searching off and on for a possible biological son since 2009‚ and found him recently due to a message he left on Adopted.com. He is extremely similar to me and my other son‚ and looks a lot like me! These past few days have been the best ever.
