739. Alina26 : Hi I’m trying to trace my mum’s birth parents/family. My mum’s parents lived in Glasgow during the 50’s. Her mother’s name is Nancy Gray. She worked at the Old Glasgow Friut Market. Her fathers name was Ritchie Maxwell. They got married on 10/12/1954 in Glasgow. They had two other children before, my mums sister Christine who was born at Old Lennox Castle hospital on the 3/5/1955. Then a brother Ritchie born in Paisley on 3/8/1956. The only address we have where they lived is Kessock Street in Glasgow during the 50’s but this street does not exist anymore.

744. TEnglish83 : Hi I am trying to help my dad find his half sister. Unfortunately, we have very little information to work with. We believe she was born between the late 1930s - early 1940s to Mary Ryan in a Mother & Baby Home in Ireland (we believe in either Cork or Limerick). We believe she remained in Ireland for the early part of her childhood and then moved to Scotland, where we believe she still is now. She did try and trace her routes in Ireland, however, unfortunately, she was turned away by an older family member. My dad only found out about all of this and having a half sister 2 years ago. We know this is a long shot, however, my dad would love to make contact.
745. Jbernstein62 : Looking for my older brother, birth mother was Elizabeth Macdonald (maiden name). Not sure what exact year he was born (between 1949-55) but my mother moved from Scotland before she had my older sister (Fiona) and me. Birth father may have been an American soldier who left to go back to America therefore resulting in my mum giving my brother up for adoption. He was given the name Stephen by my mother, not sure on the spelling, but this may have changed when he was adopted.
746. MissingBabies : You were born at St John’s Hospital, in Livingston. The name on your birth certificate is Keirn Lee Noonan. The Agency who dealt with your adoption was Falkirk Fostering and Adoption Team.
