A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Kentucky Who Chose To Be Featured
1456. Susanshores : The family that took me home from the hospital was named Dugger. Supposed to have been born in Chicago on Dec 10‚1960 on the "Polish" side of town. Mother’s name potentially Brenda‚ but so many lies surrounding the birth (3lbs 4 oz at birth but allowed to go home next day)‚ that no information is for certain. No birth certificate but do have baptismal record from Chicago in May of 1961 and seen photos from that day‚ appear to be right age for a Dec birth. Half sister also adopted out and potentially other siblings as well.
1457. FamilyLooking4You : I’ve always known I was adopted and have hoped to one day at least meet my birth family. I was born in March of 2006 at University of Louisville Hospital and I have a smiling face that instantly lights up a room. If you’re my birth parents‚ I’m sure one of you carry this same distinctive face and I’m relying on my face to lead you to me. I also have a distinctive laugh and trust that I also carry that as a mark of my genetics.
1458. Larinda1981 : Fathers last name was hensley. First name edward c
Was born in louisville left at hospital and taken away before family could even lay eyes on him. Unfortunately we are not blood but my grandmother has always wondered what happened to him. And through stories of this i have to. We call him baby christmas. His father is deceased.
1460. Bobbidear : Adoptive parents first names were Cynthia and Randy. It was through an agency in Louisville. I know the first and middle name that was assigned at birth.
1462. Winkler1968 : My adopted name is David Mayer Winkler.
Adopted by Herb and Carole Winkler‚ of Cincinnati‚ OH in 1968. There was some initial concern placing me with my adoptive parents as my dad had a serious kidney disease and required dialysis‚ and his life expectancy was a concern. In the end‚ they were granted the adoption via the Jewish Adoption Agency in Cincinnati/Hamilton County‚ Ohio‚ I THINK.
But could also be Kentucky just across one of the bridges from Cincinnati.
From what I’ve learned of my birth parents‚ my mother had already graduated high school and was approx 4’? after having polio as a child. She had one sister. During my adoption‚ my maternal grandmother was marrying a Rabbi‚ and my grandmother and mother and aunt were converting to Judaism. Unknown Temple affiliation.
My birth father was still a high school senior‚ reportedly very tall‚ approx 6’3-6’5‚ and a basketball star. Unknown high school. He wanted to marry my birth mother‚ she obviously declined. I’m more interested on finding my birth father. I will tell you I’m 6’3‚ hazel eyes.‚ an athlete my whole life. My father’s name‚ I am now told‚ is/was ALBERT LYNN. Unknown if that’s his first and middle or first and last.
I’ve been married for 25 years and have two incredible sons.
Hope to find you. David
1463. Christopherbaron : Andrew Steven Lewis Baron is my son’s name it could be different now but it’s on his birth certificate it’s been five years and the only things I know are it was christian county KY that took my 2 kids and did a closed adoption without me knowing while I was in rehabilitation in Dothan Alabama. I heard from my ex wife Andrea Baron that the kids were possibly in Owensboro KY and had contact with her parents Nancy micciche and Sam brito thank you so much
1464. Me112233 : I believe adoption came through the Catholic Church‚ perhaps they were assisting unwed mothers back in the day. I have no idea if there ever was an initial name given at birth by the birth parent. Carolyn is the name given by adopting parents no idea what name‚ if any‚ was ever given by birth mother. This was an infant adoption‚ not a two or three year old. While I believe the birth occurred in or near Louisville‚ Kentucky‚ it could have been elsewhere.
1465. Emmy3381 : Searching for biological parents. I was born May 6‚1981. I have 3 biological siblings that were adopted with me. A brother born March 28th‚ and a younger brother and sister that are twins born March 27th. I was adopted in Kentucky as far as I know. I grew up in Maysville‚ Kentucky. Siblings used to be known before adoption as Jasper‚ Sean and Shawna.
1466. Ray0629 : I know you were born to Barbara Ann Hosse in Louisville‚ KY. You are my sister. We met briefly when you came to meet our mother on Twisted Pine Road about 20 years ago. I have been looking for you ever since.
1467. Beantowngal : I am looking for Lois F Marcum‚ my birth mother‚ or relatives. She was living in Louisville Kentucky at the time of my birth. I am a twin and both me and my twin brother were adopted at the same time by the same family.
1468. Christyislooking4u : My mother placed her son for adoption‚ she gave him the name Kent Noel. She was at a catholic nunnery in Louisville Kentucky. She wants to find him but she’s scared he doesn’t want to meet her.
1470. JenniferKanoff : I’m looking for my daughter. She was placed for adoption at the age of 4 in the state of Kentucky. My name is Jennifer Kanoff and I’m originally from Louisiana. My daughter was born in Iberville parish plaquimen Louisiana March 24th 2006. I’m married to the same man as I was when you were placed for adoption. We moved from Kentucky after he got out of the army back to Louisiana. You have 1 little brother who is 7. My mother Christine Davenport lives in Clarksville tennessee. You have 4 uncles William Joseph rando (La)‚ James Matthew rando (La)‚ Cody Davenport (Tn)‚ and Tyler Davenport (Tn). You were always loved and wanted but due to poor mental health and other personal issues I couldn’t keep you. It wasn’t fair to you. I couldn’t care for myself or you the way I should have been able to. When your step father was deployed the state stepped in and took you as they very well should have. I couldn’t get myself together and after a while I agreed to letting your foster family adopt you. I have never forgotten you or your sweet voice. We celebrate your birthday every year and every Christmas we get you a new ornament. There’s so many things I want to tell you. I have always loved you.
