My mom passed away in 2001 at the age of 43. I am her only Child and have no blood family what so ever I mean none except my own children. I recently took 23 and me and it has lead me down a few paths but no replys back yet. I would really like to give my mom some closure. ( even though shes not here anymore) I would love to reconnect with any birth family members.
919. Krs2016 : Looking for birth parents, Born in Louisville, kentucky, Jefferson county. Mother might be named Joanna webb and dad played in a steel band. 925. Kleadingham : Hello,
I am trying to find out who my biological family is on my fathers side. My father was born Jan 25, 1964 and adopted in 1974 in Carter County Ky. We have finally found two papers from court, and his altered birth certificate. We have been told a couple different stories on his birth mother and birth father, and we just want to find out what family we really come from. From what I understand, only his middle and last name was changed after the adoption. Adopted by Leadingham’s.
927. ChrisLann1966 : Looking for Grandmother. My Father was adopted.
His biological father was Bernie Dumas
Birth/adoption was inLouisville Kentucky
My adoptive grandmother Edeltraud E Zins
My adoptive grandfather Fred Lanning
Father’s Birth date September 2 1966
Register date September 9 1966
928. Sherrir1970 : I am looking for the family of my great grandmother she was of mixed race and was taken to Louisville on a train with a bunch of other kids for a orphanage in Louisville Kentucly and near by
929. Petersus : I don’t have a lot of information to go on but this is what I do know. My biological mom, Debbie, had a baby girl around 1990 that she named Alexis. She was probably born at St. Luke’s Hospital in Ft. Thomas, Kentucky. My biological mom and the baby were homeless, living in a park. When my biological mom tried to find Alexis she had been adopted. I live in Michigan which is where our biological mom is from. She moved to Kentucky to live with her mom when she was in high school or maybe she had just graduated. We also have a half brother that lives in Kentucky. He’s older than both of us. I met our biological mom the summer of 1990 when I was 19 years old. That was probably the year Alexis was born. I think that’s all the information I have.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
