A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Kentucky Who Chose To Be Featured
1066. Redrebeckka3 : I’m looking for my biological father. I know he was given up for adoption not sure when just found out who his biological parents were but unfortunately they’ve both past away n they gave him up
1068. Mrskennylogsdon : I am looking for my husband’s son Timothy Allen Luckenbill (Timmy was his family name). Timmy was born to Kenneth Wayne Logsdon and Tracey Luckenbill on January 9‚ 1988. Kenneth(Aka Kenny Wayne or Wayne)was incarcerated at the time of his birth. When Timmy was several months old‚ Tracey married another man and only months later Timmy and his older sister were taken from their mother Tracey in 1989 due to sexual abuse by her husband and neglect. He was in foster care from 2/1989 to 07/1990 then back to his mom until he was taken by CPS again in January 1991. He was treated a Bingham Child Center in Louisville KY for anxiety‚ fear of water‚ and aggressiveness and placed back in foster care. David Stengel was the attorney the state gave Kenny Wayne to help him fight the case of having his rights terminated. Eventually Timmy and his older sister were adopted by the same family is what my husband was told‚ because his rights were terminated. Timmy was probably about four when actually adopted. Kenny Wayne won his case against Stengel in 1996 because his rights were terminated and at that time wanted to continue to pursue getting his son. Over a period of weeks‚ I talked him out of it. It had nothing to do with not wanting Timmy. I did not want Timmy to hate us for taking him from the only family he probably ever remembered having. Kenny Wayne was newly paroled after 10 years in prison and he had a lot to do to get his life back on track enough to have a good solid life for Timmy. Kenny Wayne and I Vicki Burden were married 11/17/1996. I had children and grandchildren and we had Timmy. We celebrated his birthday every year‚ just me and his daddy. Kenny Wayne died 2/19/2004 and one of the last things he said to me was "Vicki‚ We have to find Timmy. I have to tell him how much I love him and give him all my legal files where I fought to keep him. He has to know that I wanted him and I tried to keep him. Then if he never wants anything to do with us I can accept it‚ but he has to know I loved and fought for him!"

They were adopted around 2000 or 2001, in the state of Kentucky. The division of child services was involved in the case. They were very young parents but are still together and have another daughter, whom just turned 17.

1073. Raelynnileswilson : frank and martha cox adopted my grandmother around 1940, her bio mom id retha m wilson. I’m searching for any record of the adoption
1074. SusanRaczkowski : I am searching for my sister’s son, who was born while she was housed at the Salvation Army Home for Unwed Mothers in Louisville, KY. She was only 15 at the time. The baby’s name on the birth certificate is Mason Lee Hayes.
The mother’s name is Linda (Ann) Raczkowski.
The father’s name on the birth certificate is Ronald Vernon Hayes. I have information that this is not his actual father.
1075. Kaleidoscope17 : My mother passed away recently. I knew of one sister adopted which we have contact with after finding. There may be additional children before my sister or right after. Born in Louisville KY she went through catholic charities for my sister’s adoption. Carole Jean Brown is my mothers name marriages include a Smith, Hale, and Gillespie. She was born in 1941.
1076. Dalindastewart : Birth names: Ciera Dawn Hicks 9/7/93 & Christina Rae Hicks 4/28/95. Both were born at University of Cincinnati Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Adoption took place in Kentucky sometime after 7/1996.
Jean and Bob Cox were the original foster parents, which resided in Florence, My.
1077. Asizemore : My mothers name is Tracy Lynn (Maiden Name: Marler) Donaldson. She put my sister up for adoption in April, 1987, as she was only 15/16 years old and was informed by her mother that she would not help her raise the child. My sister was born in Louisville, Kentucky on April 3, 1987. I would absolutely love more than anything, to be able to meet her. My mother named her Heather, however, her name was more than likely changed. It was a closed adoption, as my mother was unaware of open adoptions, since it was a new thing back then.
1078. E_hacker99 : I am looking for my half sister. My father says that her name was Natalie when she was born. Her birth mother’s name is Elizabeth Hartman and my fathers name is Tilman Bain. She was born in Bellevue Kentucky. My father said her birth mother’s family was catholic, which leads us to believe that the adoption to have a tie with that. The year would have been between 1985-1986. Please help or bring us any information that you can. Thanks!
1079. MaryEP : I was born Mary E. Posey, born 1966, in San Francisco, California. My Nmother was Alice Rosalie Lovett, Shipley, Strong, born 1926, in Arkansas and died/buried in Georgia. I’ve been looking for close Nfamily members for about 35 years. I have brother(s) and sister(s) that are between one year- twenty years difference in age. Also we all have different fathers or mothers. I’m not sure of my Nfathers name, born 1928.
My conception was a one night stand, but both parents knew each other for several years. Just wanting to belong.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
