A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Kentucky Who Chose To Be Featured
751. KTanner138 : I had an Ancestry DNA test done. My older sibling supposedly died shortly after birth in Virginia. I have reason to believe s/he was born healthy, then stolen and sold on the black market in any state. A white baby born April 20, 1978 at Petersburg General Hospital in Virginia, but would be listed as born elsewhere. The hospital records were destroyed in a mysterious fire in the early 1980s. The birthday would have been changed, as would any other identifying information. She was born a girl, though my parents "were not allowed" to see the baby after birth. My mother heard her baby crying healthily from the other side of the curtain after her forced scheduled 8am c-section, 8:20 something was the birth time. It is possible it was really a boy. The doctor informed my parents of the "death" 90 minutes later at 10am. He insisted on never seeing the baby due to the grotesqueness of her. She supposedly had complete anencephaly, missing basically her entire head that never formed. A baby cannot cry without a head to cry from, missing vital structures essential for that bodily function, let alone survive 1.5 hours. There was a closed casket memorial service, nothing more. The death certificate listed time of death in the 3am hour of April 20th, 5 hours before s/he was actually born. The time has also been altered in some way on the certificate. There is no telling what other information was changed, and to what extent. False birth information would have been provided to vital statistics, around the same time the false death information was submitted on April 24, 1978. The baby would have been adopted soon after by a family that thought it was an honest, closed adoption from a young, unwed mother. This would result in false information given to the child later on. In a nutshell, I am looking for a white adult born early-mid 1978 that believes the wrong facts about their biological parents, adopted in anywhere USA. I have no clue as to where to start my search. Our family genes are strong. A boy would look like my grandfather, father, brother, and nephew. A girl would like like my grandmother, mother, daughters, and myself. I only hope to find the truth before it’s too late. My entire family, parents and grandparents, have passed away. My younger brother knows no more than I do. There is simply nobody left to collaborate with. Thank you for listening. Whether you feel this could be yourself or not, I wish you luck in your own search.
753. Rmarler2 : My father was adopted I believe when he was 8 months old. I do not know any other information unfortunately. Anyone with that information has passed away.
754. Grassy29 : From what my adopted parents told me I was born in Owensboro Kentucky. Again, from what I was told the last name I was born under was Mills. I was supposedly born on March 29th 1979. I’d love to find my birth parents to understand my health history and I’d like to reconnect with my birth family. Thank you!!
756. Downtownjimmyb : The loved one I’m searching for that would be at an utter loss for words of joy if someone could help me obtain information for her on the whereabouts of her biological parents that gave her up for adoption around the Mayfield/Louisville, Kentucky area. All she knows is her mother was said to be 6’1" in height and her mother’s ethnicity was white. Her father however was of a mixed race, 50% african-American, 50% white. She has no answers or information on who they are or where they could be or if somehow by an AMAZING miracle chance she could hopefully be able to make contact with one or both of them if they’re willing and still alive.
757. Mimmsv828 : I am ISO of my birth father. I have met my birth mom and she isn’t sure of whom my father may be. I do know that he attended the University of Indiana and may have been a football player or friends of several players. Her maiden name at the time of conception was Stephani Jordan. She was from a small town in Indiana. The conception took place in late 1964 as a result of bad situation that stemmed from a night of partying. I have other names but do not wish to share publicly out of respect to her. Thank you in advance.
759. LisaCreech32379 : My son Andrew and his sister Rhiannon was adopted in 2010 and lived in Owenton Kentucky, Owen County. He was 10 at the time of adoption. Along with his sister Rhiannon. In the state of Kentucky, Kenton County
762. ThomasMaceHitz : Looking for an half-sister and/or her descendants. My mom was 19 and unwed, Catholic, Caucasian. She was living in Southgate, Michigan at the time of the pregnancy. Father was a boyfriend, possibly from Grosse Pointe or Southgate, Michigan. They took mom to an "Catholic Unwed Mother’s Home" for some months and for the birth. That home was possibly in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. Maybe adopted into a family in Kentucky. Adoptive family may also have been friends of mom’s parents. Mom had brown eyes and redish brown hair. Mom married a year later.
764. JuliePucc : I was born in Huntingburg, IN. My birth parents both worked at a local hospital.
I do know that I was not her first child.

765. KTInman70 : Inman- was born at saint Elizabeth Hospital in Dayton Ohio on September 25 1970 as Kelly Troy Inman was told I have a twin brother Stephen Ryan Inman and possibly an older sister was adopted by a family in Kentucky who changed my name to Kelly Allen Morgan I want desperately to find my Biological family no names available. In the process of DNA this week. Can’t find a birth certificate for myself in Ohio or Kentucky but did see mine a few year ago and my birth place was Montgomery county Dayton Ohio. Please anyone with info? Rumor was that I was left at the hospital in Harlan Ky because I was very ill that my birth mother may have been from Harlan and moved to Dayton and was visiting Harlan, also was told that the Morgan’s got me at 3 days old. Any family out there I’d love to talk please!
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
