My adopted sister was born in 1992 at Audubon hospital in Louisville‚ KY to Heather Dawn Kirgan or her last name may have been Shuck at the time. It was an open adoption at first with pictures and letters exchanged‚ then turned to a closed adoption after being too emotionally hard on my mom. My sisters family was there at the hospital waiting for her to take her home. My mom thought her family lived in Elizabethtown and that the mom was either a nurse or anesthesiologist. Her grandpa told my moms friend that he had made my sister either a rocking chair or crib and that they were so elated to bring her home.
