Your birthmother stayed in a Salvation Army home for unwed mothers also in Louisville. You had an older sister when you were born, her name is Lori, & you have 2 younger sisters as well, Wendy & Summer. Your birthmother’s name was Cara & she was 23-24 at your birth. My birth mother lived at 1612 Scott Street in Covington, Ky. I was born March 17, 1960 in Cincinnati. Ohio. The hospital where I was born was Catherine Booth Hospital I was adopted through Catholic Social Service Bureau, Diocese of Covington, Kentucky. The adoption was finalized December 29th, 1960. My maiden name was Kathleen Kemper but I’ve always went by my nick name, Kelly.
250. KYLeeFamily : Searching for Helen, Patty and Gary Lee who were placed for adoption at the Mary Kendall Home in Owensboro, KY in 1943. They were the children of LaNora Mae Giddens Lee (born 1908) and Lawrence Lee (born November 5, 1907.) When LaNora died August 21, 1943 and their father was serving in World War II, the children were placed in the Mary Kendall Home. A brother, Jimmie, born in 1933 was placed with Robert and Letha Hill of Scottsville, KY. Letha was the sister of their father, Lawrence. I am a descendant of the Lee Family.
We believe Helen was adopted in Evansville, Indiana. Patty eventually moved to California. Gary may have died in Louisville, Kentucky.
