A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Kentucky Who Chose To Be Featured
616. Scottcantrell71 : Have an older half brother who was apparently born on December 25, 1963 (or within a day) to my father and his young girlfriend at the time, who were both still in high school in Oldham County Kentucky. My grandmother, Vera Cantrell, arranged for the almost immediate adoption. My dad’s name is William Michael Cantrell and his birthday is 6.18.1947. He would have been sixteen at the time of my older brother’s birth. My Dad was living in Crestwood/Peewee Valley, Kentucky at the time.
617. Justmegs : I’m looking for my boyfriend’s older sister who was put up for adoption after she was born and we dont know her name or where she lives. I just want closure for him
618. JHM3 : Looking for John Hardy Mitchell IV, my sons original birth name. Mother’s maiden name is Julie Whitley. Originally from Louisville KY. Son was adopted around age 3 or 4 when his mother was in Europe. Adoption actually occurred out of the US. Believe that his name may have been changed several times. Would like to get to know him.
620. JHSteeley : My husband knows he was born in Franklin Kentucky. His birth mothers last name was Meadows. Does not remember his first given real name, as his adoptive parents renamed him. He was told that his real mother was dying of cancer and that’s why she was placing the kids in other homes. He knows he had 3 (?) other siblings. One of the older sisters name was Kim or Kimberly(?) there was another sister, he can’t remember her face or name. Had a brother named Tommy(?). He had vague memories of living in a big red or brown brick building and there were train tracks nearby. He was adopted when he was 3, and by the time he was a teenager living in Mt Juliet TN, the older sister Kim did come to visit him. About 16 years ago he was given a message with a phone number by his adoptive mother. We called the number and it was the sister, Kim, calling to tell him that the brother Tommy had passed away, maybe suicide, not sure.
621. ToraEllis : I’m looking for my sister. Her birth parents were Francisco Vega and Kimberly Amerian. I really want to find her. I wish I knew more but the people who know that information are not inclined to share it with me. I’ll find you Shontay. Somehow, someday.
626. SDickey : Adopted parents last name Brown. Born at Lexington Baptist Hospital or Lexington Memorial (?). I know my birth mothers name is Angela Geddes. My birth fathers name is Dave (David?). She was given a picture of me six months after I was born.
627. Ssims2019 : I dont know much info I was born in covington ky and my parents (foster) got me when I was 3 months old I dont know anything other then that

I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
