1022. Pikagirl420 : I have very little to go on. Im not even positive if im related. My dad was dating a girl who was pregnant shortly after they broke up. She had the baby and while baby was still very young before my dad could find out if baby was related to us or not‚ the mom died in a car accident my dad said. Im thinking the baby was younger than me (i was born in 2000) but I dont know for sure. My dad's name is Harold Rick and my name is Tashara Anderson. I have 3 more siblings who i have gotten in contact with already. This is the only one that we haven't found yet
1023. Kathleary : I am searching for my birth mother. She is from Roanoke‚ VA - last name Holiday. I was born in Washington‚ DC on 12/25/1962 - Christmas Day! 1024. Rossandra77 : Searching for Raymond Barr-Birthfather
Birthmother Elizabeth Shinko from PA.
It appears that they met in Washington DC when he was headed oversea's. She worked for the USO.
Child/Self Roslyn Louise Shinko-Barr 7/7/45
Raymond was in the military in 1944‚ a new high school graduate. From what I saw in very limited information from St. Annes Infant Home via Catholic Charities (who lost my paperwork) in Washington DC‚ he was from a protestant family. According to that limited information he offered to marry Elizabeth‚ she said no. I was placed in St Annes in Washington DC and adopted at 6 months.
I met Elizabeth before she died‚ she was unwilling to share any information or connections.
1025. Cyndickc1 : I was adopted from St. Anne's Infant Home in Washington DC. Which moved to Hyattsville‚ MD in 1962 but I have been told my adoption took place in Washington DC.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
