Your big loving and proud sister
456. Steph312 : My son was born at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Towson, Md on 3/29/91. The adoption was a closed one in Washington, DC. He has 2 adopted siblings, a male and female and is Catholic. The delivering doctor was Dr. Authur Nauman.
457. AnnSnowberger : Adopted child: "Regina" was later named "Claire" by her adoptive parents. Birthmother of adopted child was: Judith Ann Hall, DOB: June 28, 1945. Judy later married Frank Robert Niedermair, Washington, DC, and had two children- Eric Robert Niedernair and Judith Catherine Niedermair. Contact was made with Judy, but she refused to connect or tell Claire anything about her birthfather. Contact was made with her half-brother Eric, but he declined further contact.
Searching for Birth-Father: Adoption records indicate he wanted to raise Claire, but birthmother said "no."
Birth-Mother’s age at time of adoption: 16
Birth-Mother’s residence: Washington, DC
Birth-Mother’s relatives: Gertrude "Trudy" Catherine Bilbo (Mother) Goldie Mae (nee Howdyshell) Bilbo (Grandmother).
458. Jillmariee1 : I’m searching for any family members, preferably my birth mother. I was given the name Jasmine or Jazmine Grey or Gray at birth but was adopted shortly after my birth.
460. Ldiggans : I am trying to find my sister’s daughter she put up for adoption around June of 1970 in DC. Child was born at Children’s Hospital in DC.
461. Debbipoch : I was born at Washington Hospital Center on April 11, 1963 and I was adopted thru the Barker Foundation.
Though my parents were married at the time of my birth my biological parents didn’t realize my mother was pregnant at the time of the wedding. My biological father has tremendous guilt over that fact and they did not feel ready to parent or that they prepared financially or emotionally to raise me. The pregnancy was hidden from the entire family except the biological mother’s sister. I believe they came from outside of the DC for the end of her pregnancy and my birth.
462. AllenCowart : My adopted father was an officer in the US NAVY.He was stationed at Bethesda Navel Hospital in 1964 when they adopted me . I was born at the Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington DC 12/24/64
464. Destreella : Hello, my name is Destiny Michelle Khalil. I was recently told that I have a sibling in her mid 20’s by now. She was put up for adoption because my mom couldn’t take care of her. She was born between my brother Delend Rhodes and my other sister Tiffany Davette Cook. I’m 17 years old, I’ve been recently told this.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
