557. BristowS : I’m looking for my husband’s birth father. His mother’s maiden name was June Batch. The story is that she broke up with her boyfriend (my husband’s father) while pregnant and her new boyfriend, at the time of delivery, signed the birth certificate. She was 15 when he was born. All I know was he was born in northern VA / Alexandria area and his mom was in Catholic school.
559. Sharonms : I was born December 17, 1966 in Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC . i was a big baby weighing over 9lbs. Im female with blue eyes and brown hair but was told my hair was strawberry blonde as a baby. Not sure if i even had hair when i was born. I was adopted by the Schneider family a couple weeks after birth and moved to Maryland. Im searching for either my biological parents or any brothers or sisters i may have. I may still have other relatives in the DC area also. If I sound familiar..please reach out.
560. Psalmsome : Searching for my nephew Donald Porter whose birth mother’s name is Linda. Linda had a daughter by a previous relationship who was a toddler/preschooler when Donnie was born. His birth father, my brother, James R Porter Jr. The 2 were together for 1-2 years in Oxon Hill, MD.
She left Jimmy shortly after she found out that she was pregnant.
561. VHRM82 : Praying to meet my birth mother and sibling, I was born in Freeman Hospital, Washington DC. I was raised by my birth father and loving adopted mother. However I would love to meet my birth mother and family members. (I have a unique eye color and a very unique birthmark in a unique location) .
563. Eslinger : I’m looking for my mothers parents. She was born February 2, 1947 and was adopted from catholic charities. Her adopted parents names were Walter and Helen Garges. She had a tumer on her head that was removed before her adoption. I believe she was 6 months old at the time of her adoption.
565. Amyohler89 : My father Morgan Eric Ohler born in DC, was adopted by Walton LeGrande Ohler and his wife Barbara. Apparently the birth mother (name unknown) lived in DC, Illinois or Virginia with my adoptive grandparents until she gave birth to my Dad. Virginia Parker of West Virginia is the person who handled his adoption along with 2 others they adopted (David and Kristen), and from what I was told this was a military adoption. And is open. My Dad was raised for the most of his childhood in Le Roy IL. Graduated in 1978 from Doherty High Scool in Colorado Springs. He later joined the Navy on his 21st Birthday and lived in California. My Dad passed away in 2011, along with any information regarding his adoption as well as anyone who was involved in the adoption. I’m searching for my paternal grandparents or any family I may be related to. My Dad was born with a condition where he had to wear braces on his legs. I was told he may have 2 half brothers on his Biological mothers side. I have no information regarding birth father, he may not have ever known he had a son. Any new information I can gather I will update.
566. DeniseDAmico : I found out in 2016 that I have a half brother!! My mother was forced by her parents to give up a child (son) out of wedlock somewhere in July of 1958-59. She was either sent to St Ann’s in MD/DC or Florence Crittenton in DC. I have very little information. My full brother and I have done Ancestry and 23 and me with no luck at this point. :( With all these DNA sites, I was seriously hoping it would a lot easier than this. My full brother even does our geneology and has a lot of insight on pulling information with no leads... Maybe "he" doesn’t want to be found or maybe "he" doesn’t know he is adopted. I just don’t know where else to go. Adoption records are sealed... I would just love to meet my brother. :)
568. Karl1969 : Looking for birth mother. Birth mother attended Bowie State University. Male baby was born July 31st, 1969 and the adoption was through Catholic Charities.
569. Mominsearch13640 : I’m a desperate special needs mom in search of my birth parents. I don’t have money to do ancestry as I am also supporting my older two sons as well (3 total) in college. I don’t know my health history and need to know especially for my son with autism.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
