616. Kierra07 : I am looking for my older brother. Our mother’s name is Kimberly Schell and she had him when she was 16. He would have been born in 1980 or 1981 in Prince George’s County Maryland. Not much info to go on‚ but‚ I hope to find you.
617. Coblelong4 : birth father or siblings my birth mother wishes to have no contact, i did ancestry and 23 and me but have not gotten any close matches for my birth father or siblings on his side
618. BigPluck : My name is LeAnder Chambers. I’m known as Big Pluck. I’m a Musician/Music Producer/ Music Writer/Sound Engineer & Graphics Designer. Back in 1988 I met a very beautiful young lady named India who was homeless. I took her in, fed her, clothed her & gave her a place to live. Eventually I fell in love with her, then suddenly she disappeared until one night I received a page from a guy I used to ride motorcycles with who had recently started selling drugs in the adjacent neighborhood of Mt. Pleasant. When I returned his call from a pay phone he told me he had just saw India & she was pregnant with my baby.... Shocked I’m looking @ the phone receiver quite baffled & I asked Him "how do you know India & what do you mean she’s pregnant with my baby"?. He explained that she’s one of his customers & she was depressed & needed someone to talk to & she told him she’s pregnant with a guy named Pluck’s baby & she didn’t know what to do. He asked "who Big Pluck"? She replied "yes, you know him"? he then said "yeah everybody knows Big Pluck". She said "Please don’t tell him I told you".
So I told him not to sell her any more drugs, but a drug dealer is going to do what a drug dealer does. This was around the end of the summer in September. So I started making excuses to drive through that neighborhood every time I’d drive near there. Until finally one November night I ran into her & she finally admitted it was mine & that she didn’t want to have anything to do with it. I pleaded with her to come back home with me & let me take care of her, but she was adamant about it. She said she was putting the baby up for adoption & I wasn’t trying to hear that. But once again she insisted! So the least I could do was tell her to please call me when the baby gets here & I’ll raise the baby without her. She still kept saying she wanted nothing to do with the baby. I was very tired from the concert I had just come from performing @ Breeze’s Metro Club & had a recording session in New York the following day @ 12 noon. So I had to get on the road. In those days I was always in NY recording so I kept a bag packed in the car & headed for the city.
The next time I saw her she told me she had a girl & put her up for adoption. This was sometime during the Summer of ’89.
During that year I started working as a motorcycle courier for a friend’s company to make some extra money because I wasn’t playing with the band Lil Benny & The Masters any longer. One day I’m approached by a guy who was a motorcycle courier who asked if I had seen some bicycle courier. I told him I don’t know him. He said "well that girl you had with you that night outside the club RSVP that’s his wife & he’s been looking for her. Have you seen her"? I honestly said "No". Now I learned she’s married with a drug problem. Which kid of put some things in perspective. However I still loved her. The very last time I ever saw India I had just come out of the main courthouse from making a delivery & sitting on y company motorcycle when I see this guy dressed as a bicycle courier dragging India by her arm out of a cab & rushing into the court building. I’m thinking on well he’s found her now. Maybe he’s going to get a divorce. I haven’t seen her since But I have always wanted my daughter, & I still want to meet her & salvage what little relationship we may have left. Life is so short & I want to find my baby! Please HELP ME!
-Sincerely
LeAnder Chambers A.K.A. Big Pluck
620. August261965 : I am a female, Caucasian, adoptee looking for a birth parent, sibling, or family member. I was born on 8/26/65 in Washington D.C. or Maryland. I was adopted from Catholic Charities.
I am 5’4", brunette, hazel (green/gold) eyes, thin frame.
621. LindaMc3p : I’m looking for my birth daughter, Kimberly Elizabeth Scales, born at Columbia Hospital for Women on the morning of February 28, 1979.
623. DaMiGi : My "father"‚ worked with my "Birth Mother" in a shoe store (Cook’s Shoes) around the Hyattsville‚ Maryland area. I was born to a single‚ unwed mother of 17 Years old in 1963 in Washington DC‚ she registered at the hospital‚ under my "Adoptive Mother’s" name‚ so she could give me a decent home & Upbringing. I only know her first & last name(s)‚ that she was 17 years old at the time & where she was working & how she met my "Future parent’s"‚ from what I do know‚ she held my parent’s in high regard & that my "Real father" was somewhat of a pal & abuser. The "Adoption"‚ if you will was clearly "Very under the table". I am 51 years old currently & she would be around 68 years of age. Again‚ she (My birth mother)‚ was working in the Hyattsvile‚ Maryland area & she had me in Washington DC‚ her "Maiden name" is "Wilkerson"‚ as shown on my Birth Certificate‚ her first name is Doris (Not on the Birth Certificate). Gave me up to a family of 3‚ plus a grandmother‚ Georgia‚ Jane‚ Robert & their son‚ Christopher. Birth certificate shows the spelling "Gillespie"‚ but is incorrect‚ should be Gillaspie" instead. Any kind of assistance would be most welcome‚ as I need to find out my parent’s past medical history & possibly‚ even who my "Real father" is. Please Help!!
624. JOHNCELIA : I was born with a medical problem which made it necessary to stay in the hospital longer. Supposedly I had a head that was larger than normal. Just 5 years ago I was diagnosed with “Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus,.. which I likely had since birth. Born at A Washington DC hospital. My adoptive mom and dad visited me often, until they could take me home, and the adoption was complete sometime later in 1961 I was Adopted through Catholic Charities.
I’ve lived a happy full life with a loving family, but I always wondered abouT half siblings as I know I’ve got at least one older half sibling As my birth mom had at least one child already when I was born. I’d love to find blood relatives just to know where I came from and possibly any Genetic, health and background information.
Sincerely, hoping ❤️
P.S. Given name at birth Was
THOMAS FRANCIS - NOW, John A Celia
625. Mlandriau703 : I was born April 21, 1964 in Washington DC. I was born in Providence Hospital. I was adopted from Catholic Charites, St. Ann’s Infant Home, also in Washington DC by my adopted parents on May 14, 1964. I have since learned that my biological mother was Elaine Suttle Beckley. I do not know my father, and I am searching for him. I believe he was a medical doctor and age 31 at the time of my birth. He died in a car accident soon after. That is all I know. I also believe from DNA testing that he was 100% Ashkenazi Jew. Any information would be very welcome.
626. Kbeanmom3 : I am searching for my birth parents. I am a white female and was born Sept 16, 1963. I was born in Washington, DC. I understand that my birth mother was a naval nurse at the time.
629. Kermit75 : All that I was told was that you were born in massachusetts, and that you were raised by maternal grandparents possibly in Arizona. I’m your aunt and I am curious if you want to know us? My brother would be your bio dad. Not sure I he ever signed your birth certificate. He is still alive but was never told where you were and left things alone. And now he is not tech savvy at all so I am searching. You do have siblings. You’d be the oldest of 5 half siblings. My brother had 4 boys including you and 1 girl.
630. Michelle_Olmstead : I recently learned that my mom gave up a baby girl for adoption in 1965. Mom worked in the DC area at the time. It was a private adoption. The date mom gave me was 2/22/65 and the given name was Candice Marie. Please reach out if you’d like to connect. I don’t have any other details except the adopting parents were friends of a friend of my mom’s. If you think we might be related please reach out. I can share my mom’s name as well. I hope to find you sis!
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
