A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within District of Columbia Who Chose To Be Featured
751. Charlotte1984 : My name is Charlotte. I was born in 1984 and adopted in Washington, DC as an infant. I know little about my birth parents. I know I was my mother’s 4th child and she was 27 years old at the time. She surrendered parental rights and I was placed in a foster home. I was then adopted and took the last name of my adoptive parents.
752. U263934 : My father was born Sept. 28, 1950 in Austin, TX. He was white and his parents were white. There was the name of Albert Alsenz listed as his father but I think that might not be true. I am almost positive the mother was Alice Marie Lane Alsenz. Albert was born in 1911 in Brooklyn, NY and Alice in 1927 in Shandaken, NY. Both parents stated they had other children from other relationships either already adopted out or in foster care waiting for papers to be signed so they can be adopted. The only indication of where these children are is the mother said she had a child in foster care ’up east’ with the parents wanting to adopt the child which may have been a boy. The Alsenz’s lived in Austin, TX in 1950-1952 and in Kansas in 1956. The Kansas census has a Donald and a Jack Alsenz listed as being with them. I don’t think these were Alice’s children. I think they were the children of Albert and a Ruth Kniffen Alsenz Hartman Olsen now buried in New Orleans, and they were visiting with Albert and Alice, with Ruth being the person in charge of them. Let me know of any info, please, by sending a message.
753. CamPaez : Columbia Hospital 635am. Mother was 18‚ father first year of college. They were neighbors. Grandfather on mothers side was an insurance claims adjuster for GEICO. Grandmother on moms side was a government secretary.

755. Tabby099 : Looking for brother that was born at st edward mercy medical center september 25‚1976 8 lbs 2 ounces at 10:21am. The adoption may have been finalized in another state. I have looked everywhere. Very closed adoption cannot get any information.
756. Dycole50 : I am a mixed‚ 62 yo female‚ born in WDC at Freedman’s Hospital and adopted from a children’s home on Florida Ave.‚ NE. That’s all I know. Both adoptive parents are now deceased and I am seeking to find my birth mother and family.
757. Daviese : I was adopted I think in Washington DC through Catholic Charities. I had issues when I was young‚ placed in a in oxygen tent. I hear I have siblings.
758. KarenGonzalez : Hi. My name is Karen Elizabeth Gonzalez-Martin. I am 33 years old born female. I was unbelievably adopted in the first year of birth so I understand how it feels to search but I am also interested in finding my kids who I have been always considered not- obligated to maintain a positive lifestyle for my family upon the united states government. I had become impregnated at a young age of I believe 15. This has been an emotional complex for me. I was born in Brooklyn‚ N.Y. and my birth certificate was amended so I am honestly unsure. Hopefully this profile will adhere to my income at its greatest advantage. I am Not ot ever have used hard drugs‚ graduated on time‚ and think the strength of alcohol is disgusting. My life has been fair but Not the best and any information if Not at all would be highly appreciated. Thank You for your time and God Bless.
759. MelDesmond : I am looking for my unknown biological father’s family & my mother’s family. She was born in Dec. 1930 in Baltimore‚ MD & was adopted in January of 1931 by the Droney family in Washington‚ DC.
765. Jaywill94 : My name is Justin Williams and I was born march 28th in DC in 1994 I have a twin sister name jasmine‚ born on the same day. We were given up at birth at greater southeast hospital in DC. Our biological mother name is toxi Washington. We throw up in northwest dc. We also have an biological brother name Michael Washington. I’m originally looking for anything that can lead to my biological father.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
