1220. MyFernAccount : New London County‚ CT‚ USA and Kings County‚ Nova Scotia‚ Canada. Researching the Eagles/Eagell family of Kings County‚ Nova Scotia. John Eagell claimed a land grant in 1763 in Horton‚ and may have moved there from New London County‚ CT. His wife‚ may have been Laurene or Laurena or something like this. The same area was inhabited by other families from N. L. County such as the Denison‚ Harris‚ Fuller‚ and many from Lebanon and Coventry‚ CT. Has anyone run across the Eagell/Eagles name in their research in N.L. County before 1763?

Her father is Thomas Johnson from Boston‚ MA. I was in several group homes after I had my child. My mother did not want me. The baby’s father was Thomas Johnson. He was - I think - part native american. I have 2 brothers - Tom and Jim. Jim has passed away. My father and mother were divorced when I was a baby. He has many children. I am on 23 and me and ancestry.com

Both parents were from the Asheville NC area‚ but Carole was sent to Connecticut to live for several months before the child was born. My research indicates Carole returned to Asheville after the birth. To my knowledge‚ Carole did not have any family in the CT area and her one remaining child is unaware of her having a child before him. Letters indicate Carole expected the child to be a girl‚ she was born in Late July or early August 1967‚ and the baby did not return to NC with her. I would very much like to find this half-sister!
