A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Connecticut Who Chose To Be Featured
1051. Annamariestevens : Your name at birth was Chandler Eugene Stevens. I was 17 at the time of your birth. You were born in Middlesex Hospital in Middletown CT. My mother would not let me take you home (the law at that time was that anyone under 18 had to have a parent sign the baby out of the hospital). You were put up for adoption through the state of CT. It broke my hear to give you up. You are a biracial child (father black, mother white). You biological father is deceased and was named Jesse Cunningham, living in Middletown Ct and married at the time of your birth. I sent a letter and a small gold cross with you when you were adopted. You had surgery on a club foot around the age of 18 months I was told. I was told you were adopted to a doctor and his wife out of state. Miss Donahue was your adoption worker and I assume she’s passed. My name is Anna Stevens and I still (or rather again) live in Middletown CT. I am 62 which makes you 45 being born in 1976. I would very much love to meet you and if nothing else give you some family health history. I have not tried to contact you out of shame in the past, but I have always loved you and think of you often.
1054. Tlwood : For 27 years , my heart has told me my mother gave a baby up for adoption with no true confirmation that there was or was not any truth to it .
Until this past weekend when going through a box of her things with my brothers that we came across a hospital tag . That confirmed a baby boy . But not much more besides weight ect. All the normal stuff a baby would be given at birth .
1056. Twilson83 : My name at birth was Nina Yashet Gooding or Gooden!! My sister was 2-4 yrs of age when I was born. I don’t know if our birth mother is still alive but I would love to hug your neck if your out there I LOVE YOU
1058. LValley01 : We are twins separated in secret. My parents were told that Francis ( name at birth died). You may be in Vermont with the name Holly.
1059. Tiasiefken : I am searching for my birth mom my birth name was Cynthia I was born in Stamford Connecticut September 5,1976 on Elm Street (on my birth certificate) My mother was white and father black. If anyone has any information please contact me.
1060. Robertos20 : I was adopted in Connecticut. From what I know I was taken away from my birth mom after she had been passed out under the influence of drugs. By my birth parent’s blood I am black and Dominican. My name before adoption was “Javar”
1061. Mickey6319 : Searching for siblings, was told to have been the 13th child of the Striker Family.
Not sure of the spelling for Striker. Was told I was the only one adopted out. Maybe just over a year old.
1063. Mattrese : I am searching for my sister who was named Christina. She was born in Connecticut around 1999 or 2001 and adopted by her foster parents who cared for her while her parents (not married) were not able to for legal reasons. So her age would around 21 or 22.
Your birth father lived in Connecticut and moved back to Pennsylvania where he currently resides. We have searching for you for some years. You have two sisters and extended family that live in Pennsylvania. I would love to find you and hope you are ready to meet your biological family.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
