1178. MyFernAccount : New London County‚ CT‚ USA and Kings County‚ Nova Scotia‚ Canada. Researching the Eagles/Eagell family of Kings County‚ Nova Scotia. John Eagell claimed a land grant in 1763 in Horton‚ and may have moved there from New London County‚ CT. His wife‚ may have been Laurene or Laurena or something like this. The same area was inhabited by other families from N. L. County such as the Denison‚ Harris‚ Fuller‚ and many from Lebanon and Coventry‚ CT. Has anyone run across the Eagell/Eagles name in their research in N.L. County before 1763?

My parents are divorced. I was born and raised in Connecticut. I was born in Bacus Hospital in Norwich CT I lived in Norwich for at least two years before moving to Ledyard to live with my grand mother Theodora Wassik O’Brien (rip) for the remainder of the time which was 8 or 8 1/2 years I was adopted in CT at age 14 it was June/July of 2005 when the adoption was finalized. 1184. DonnaMarie61 : My birth name was Donna Marie. I was born in Torrington Connecticut. My mother was about 20 years old. My adopted sir name is Stroud. I believe my mother’s last name was Thoswell.
1185. TinaHill : I recently discovered letters between my biological father (now deceased) Lonnie Ray Hill and Carole Graham‚ who bore his child before my dad married my mother.
Both parents were from the Asheville NC area‚ but Carole was sent to Connecticut to live for several months before the child was born. My research indicates Carole returned to Asheville after the birth. To my knowledge‚ Carole did not have any family in the CT area and her one remaining child is unaware of her having a child before him.
Letters indicate Carole expected the child to be a girl‚ she was born in Late July or early August 1967‚ and the baby did not return to NC with her.
I would very much like to find this half-sister!
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
