A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Connecticut Who Chose To Be Featured
1201. Diane56 : My biological father‚ who I never lived with‚ died in May of 2022. My 88 year old birth mother‚ who raised me‚ recently shared that I have a brother. According to her memory he is probably two years older than I‚ give or take a year or two. My mother wanted to keep my brother‚ but circumstances made that impossible. She continues to grieve that loss to this day. I would like to know if my brother is alive‚ and if so‚ would he be interested in learning about his birth mom‚ biological father and sister. My hope is that we could meet‚ but I want to be respectful of mother and son’s wishes.
1203. Juliacoleman1 : Birth mother is Yvonne Charpentier‚ her ex husband Marc Charpentier signed my birth certificate but is not my biological father. She loved someone in New Haven around the time she would have been pregnant. I was born in 2000 at Midstate Medical Center. My birth father is of Mexican decent but that is all we know. I believe he doesn’t know about me.
1205. Kiwan : I found records after my mother died that she had put one of my biological sisters up for adoption. Her name at birth was either Diedre Anne Glover or Riddle. I have a copy of het birth paperwork without father’s name and a picture of my mother holding her.
1206. Briangm : I was contacted by catholic charities in Waterbury ct by a woman who believed we shared the same birth mother. I was born at Yale New Haven hospital on April 1st‚ 1982 and was immediately adopted out to a James and Barbara Mcdougall in Milford ct. out of catholic charities in New Haven ct. my adoptive parents named me Brian Gordon Mcdougall. Contact me.
1209. DonnaSobieraj : my son was born in Middlesex Memorial Hospital in Middletown‚ Ct. 06457. He was put up for adoption at an
agency in New London‚ Ct.
1210. ABfurnsculpt : I’m trying to find my mother’s sister. She was born in 1968 in Indianapolis‚ Indiana. I do not know state the adoption occurred. I do know that the birth mother turned 26 in 1968. The birth father was around 40. All this information has only been revealed by the birth mother in the past year. I have DNA on Adopted‚ Ancestry‚ 23andMe‚ MyHeritage‚ FamilytreeDNA‚ and GEDmatch. We’d really need that to match.

Adoptee: Female DOB 1968 Indianapolis‚ Indiana
Birth mother maiden name: Hodnett
DNA matches may include Hodnett Russell Hale French
1211. Metaljules66 : Born at Lawerence and Memorial Hospital in Norwhich CT on March 19‚ 2004. He was placed in foster care after his birth. I know his name is at Jason Michael Trota. I know he lives in Colchester CT and his adoptive mothets name is Mary. I was in email contact with Mary until email communication stopped 3 years ago.
1212. Mdileo2189 : My full adopted brother from what I was told...was born a year before I was so 1988. I assume the same birthplace which was Hartford hospital in CT. I am not in contact with my our bio parents or any family on either side. I wouldn’t be able to help with that due to trauma but I will tell "you" putting "you" up for adoption was the most selfless thing they have or ever will do. Their names are George A Withee and Diane E Withee. They were married in 1988 so either before you were born or after. Diane was previously married around 16 or 17 with the last name Wyse. She had a pregnancy before with a daughter named Melissa Wyse who was born in the early 70’s. Dianes maiden name is McIninch. George also had a child Samatha (Withee) I don’t know if she took the name because he never saw or met her only support was paid. I know at one point Diane’s daughter Melissa was given to a x boyfriend for awhile because George didn’t want any children. Melissa at one point was dropped back off with her mother Diane as the story goes. I know you were born because Diane thought she wanted children. George again did not. So she placed you for closed adoption. Apparently not even a year later I was born in 1989. I don’t know why the same wasn’t done for me. They are alcoholics and very abusive people. I work very hard to break the cycle. I have children of my own and will not allow them to face the same trauma these people have put so many children though between adoption and abandoning their children. I hope one day to find you and maybe have someone that is actually blood related to be part of my family.
1215. Sleepychelly : I was born at Manchester Memorial Hospital in Manchester‚ CT. I was adopted through Catholic Charities I believe. I was told by my adopted parents that the adoption records were destroyed in a fire. I would like to find my birth parents so that I can get some family genetic history for my children.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
