Fred died in of cancer in 2013. The adoptive mother (Catherine P) had 2 children later- Michelle & Michael.

It would mean a lot to find her before I graduate so I could share the moment with her as well. Fred’s son is my half brother and recently did Ancestry DNA- and would love to "connect the dots". Grace Elizabeth Bowen’s DNA matches were found on Ancestry.

It was a closed adoption and she didn’t reveal it to any of us while growing up although we always suspicious why she was born in Connecticut. She is now 86 years old and in advanced Alzheimer’s. I submitted her DNA to ancestry.com with little success. I realize her birth parents are most definitely deceased at this point however there may be later generations of family members that we can meet.
