A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Connecticut Who Chose To Be Featured
226. Ohcait : Hi all.
I am looking for my adopted brother. All of the information I know is that he was born in September of 1988 at Rockville General in Connecticut. He was adopted through Catholic Family Charities and the family that adopted him had (at the time) a 4-year adopted daughter.
227. Michellebardales : Born in Bridgeport CT
Mother’s name is Maria Elisabeth (German)
Put up for adoption through Jewish Adoption Services in New Haven
Mother and two brothers would like to meet
228. Donland555 : I was born in Danbury Connecticut and I know my birth mother was 16 years old when she had me and she never told the guy who got her pergeant.
230. Fullajoy365 : The only thing I know is my father’s name (Jimmy Robinson). My step-father (Craig E Chambers) supposedly (officially) adopted me and my sister Terry who was 1 year older than myself at the time of the adoption. Jimmy was approximately 16 when he was with my mother but I do not know if they were actually ever married or not so I have no idea if there are marriage and/or divorce records. Doing a search for Jimmy Robinson has proved fruitless because I do not know any additional information than what I have provided here.
231. Cavancolleen : I am looking for cousins of mine - my great grandmom’s name was Delia ( Briget or Brigid) Kane Noonan Boylan. She came from Ireland and settled in Connecticut. She had several sisters and brothers. Married a man named Noonan. He died and she married a stinker named Michael Boylan, also from Ireland. That produced a son, my grandpop Joseph Cornelius Boylan. We only recently found her headstone in the Old St. Mary’s Cemetery in Ansonia- she passed away in 1944. Any info on the family would be greatly appreciated. Go raibh maith agat!!
232. Cavancolleen : I had hoped that she was happy and in a good Catholic hone. Gillian had dark hair and eyes and very rosy cheeks. she was a little cuddler, love to be held close. I was so happy that she had her dad’s dark hair and eyes. they ( Mrs. Callahan of Ansonia Right to Life and Birthright of New Haven) took her to a foster family. Judge William Bennet, my cousin, handled the adoption and I was told it was a closed one, Jill would never know me, never have access. I have- over the years- sent my medical information to birthright and the adoption agency so - if she needed me- she would have my medical infor to help her. no one ever got back to me.
234. Mrtuffguy : I am looking for Simon Estwick Ford born in England between 1944 and 1950. He has lived in London, Canada and Munich and studied at the University of Texas.
238. Pjm1965 : My name is Paul Morstad‚ and I hope to connect with a birth son‚ aged 29‚ born in Connecticut (I believe) in 1988. May or may not have reunited with his birth mother‚ who lives in Colorado.
239. TtomTroi : The mother who adopted may have been named Nancy
All done by Catholic society I believe
My parents hide a lot sorry
Could posssibly have been a nurse
Adoption I think happened in Bristol Ct.
St.Mary’s hospital
240. TtomTroi : I think adoption was in Bristol Ct.
I remember the name Nancy was used
Not sure if it was the adopting parent
Also adopting parent may have been a nurse
St Mary’s hospital
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
