A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Connecticut Who Chose To Be Featured
541. Marydybas : Hello, my name is Mary. I was adopted at 6 months old. I received some info from the state 20 years ago when I was pregnant with my first son. I’d like to get whatever info is available (again) as well as pursue my birth parents. I do think my bio father might be deceased, not sure. It’s just been a huge part of my life that’s unknown and I truly would love some answers in regards to simple things such as looks, interests, still alive, etc. I’d love to meet my birth mother if she wanted to.
Thank you for your help!

That is the extent of what I know about my adoption, except that possibly my mother was too ’young’.

549. Willowbrook : I was born on May 30, 1954 at Hartford hospital, I was removed from biological mother at birth. My given name by biological mother was Doris Jean Antolini. My adoption was finalized in family court in New Britain, Connecticut when I was about 7 months old. I have 2 older siblings that stayed with either maternal or paternal grandparents, after my birth there were two subsequent births of male children, one was removed by the state and one died. There were 5 more siblings that remained in the care of biological mother. It appears that 7 siblings did stay connected in familial settings and myself and a younger brother were taken by the state and completely adopted out.
