A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Connecticut Who Chose To Be Featured
436. Kayy : I was born in Hartford Hospital in Hartford CT on Dec 12th 1986. The adoption agency that my parents went through was Easter House in Chicago, which is no longer in business. The only information I have of my birthmother about my adoption is that it was her wish that I was with my adoptive family before Christmas of 1986. Her wish was fulfilled, I was picked up from my foster family in Rocky Hill CT. by my adoptive family on Christmas Eve of 86’.
437. Sinisterfinister : Hi, my name is Greg. I was born at Hartford hospital, in March of 1974. I believe the agency was Catholic Charities. It was a closed adoption, so that’s all I know. I’m 44 years old, living in southeastern ct.
438. Mclaughlin-Vinci : Recently we were told that our father & a high school girlfriend gave a child up for adoption in the summer of 1969. We were told that the birthmother carried the baby and gave birth to a daughter while living with some sort of Catholic Ministries services for unwed pregnant girls or possibly a convent. It was most likely in the regions of mid to northern New York. Possibly near the area of Woodstock/Albany or points further north. At birth we believe she was given the first name Kim or Kimmy. The birthparents are both from Connecticut. Birthmother’s last name is McCarthy and Birthfather’s last name is McLaughlin. She would be our half sibling.
439. Rchampagne82 : I am looking to find the biological family (parent/s) of a girl born july 4th 1962 and Adopted by Phyllis B. DeChello and Pat DeChello may have lived in Milford or West Haven CT. Lisa may have gone by the name of Joy and went to Vinal Tech in Milford CT and became a hairdresser. Phyllis and Pat were Foster parents in Milford CT and Lisa was adopted when she was 18 months by the DeChello’s.
440. FindingMinna : I am searching for my aunt for my other aunt. She has been searching for her sister for years. She was born on her 11th birthday and was the only one who ever spoke about the child. My grandmother Catherine Mary Alger(Maiden King) was a mother of 11 in her late 40’s when she gave birth to a baby girl she named Mary Jane Haas.
My Aunt Susan Alger-Mansfield was born August 21, 1957 and has been searching for her since my grandmother passed in 2005. My grandmother was a very private person and did not like to discuss ’Private’ things.
442. Cbarnes827 : Last name before adoption Montagna. 1st Adoptive mother Cora M Smith of Westfield Mass. Cora died in 2004. Known blood relative in contact, Donna Roulston. Father Anthony Montagna, mother Laurelee Brownhill. Siblings Tara Deragon, Christylee Barnes (Deragon), Stephanie Trudel, Danielle Trudel, Dylan Durrell, Chris Deragon. Last known state connecticut 2004/5-?.
444. Bswan : I would like, ideally, to find all my birth family someday. My intent is simply to know who my birth family is, not to totally disrupt their lives.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
