can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In Queensland, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to access identifying information from the
government, unless a veto preventing access has been submitted.

796. Frankie2016 : Adopted child was fostered for 10 months prior to adoption
798. Tonimaggie1975peet : Looking for my brother Jeffery John watson(last name could also have Lindsay). I am unsure whether he was born in 1971 or 1973. His birth mother’s name was Norma Margaret Bryan. We are all getting older now and would like to find him while we still have time. So please reach out you have two other sisters‚ 4 nieces‚ 3 nephews and a great nephew from my eldest son. My name is Toni I was born only a few years after you were. And my middle sister Susan and I would dearly love to meet you.
800. Tmarie94 : Looking for birth mother or any family members‚ i was born in ayr QLD‚ placed into foster care for 3 months until adopted‚ moved to WA shortly after and have been here ever since. Was named by birth mother‚ name remains the same. (also share the same middle name) requested by her that the adoption was outside of family. (Mother is indigenous) i was told she was 16/17 at the time of birth.
801. GloriaLeonard : My mother was born in Rockhampton‚ Qld and my grandparents adopted her (Jack/John and Lydia Jean Leonard). She was raised in Brisbane‚ Qld. My sister and I have been trying for YEARS to find out our mother's heritage and always hit a brick wall. We feel she was perhaps fathered by our grandfather John Leonard as there are facial similarities‚ and our grandmother (Lydia Jean Reid) seemed always to have a strained relationship with her whereas our grandfather cherished her. We were told a story growing up that Mum's father was a doctor in Darwin and her mother was a Filipino nurse which would explain her colouring however in doing our DNA‚ no Pacific Islander comes up.
My Mum would be 98 years old this September and we would just really like to know our heritage before we too pass.
804. Eugenelewis : Born Royal Brisbane Maternity Hospital 1947
My mum was Joan Rosenberger born 1925 in Toowoomba I have all her family history.
My father was not registered on my birth Cert.
His name was supposed to be Thomas West‚ but Ancestry.com found evidence in the 1931 NSW Police Gazette that maybe he was using an Alias and his real name was Thomas SAGE born 1909.
Research leads me to think that his mother was a daughter of John Maloney 1850/1920 & Amy Louisa Dunn 1867/1925 but there is a missing link‚ and we cannot find conclusively which daughter‚ the name Keelan and Potter also keep coming up. This Maloney family lived in the Moree district of NSW.
805. Cjg974 : I'm seeking my adopted sister‚ my mum was young when she gave birth‚ and kept this adoption a sectret ‚ so i dont have much information‚ mum name would of been Alice Ann Curtis‚ she was from mount morgan qld‚ and i beleve the year to be 1972 or 1973‚ in Brisbane qld ‚ mot sure of what hospital ‚ i am also not sure of the month of May os questionable
