443. Tamieka89 : This is a long shot but here’s to trying. I am trying to find my biological grandmother who gave my mum up for adoption in 1963. My mum has no interest in finding her but for me it’s a void in the family and medical history (I’m a nurse, so can’t switch that thought process off). If I manage to find information about my biological grandfather - then that is a bonus. I know my mother’s biological father was Maltese and she has half sisters older than her, that found her and were corresponding with her in the mid 90s, but lost contact after we moved away from Brisbane in 98. Her name is Coral Rosa Laing (nee Puckering) DOB 09-09-1944. She married Clyde Edward Laing who was an accountant and lived in Mackay (13 Tait St) in 1968, Sarina (Beagrie St) 1977 and Childers 1980 and 1991 for PO Box 1 Isis Central Mill. She named my mother Helen Maree at birth and her adopted parents renamed her Donna Maree. I have seen a letter that my mother kept stating Coral tried to find her in 81, 82, 83, 86, 87, 89, 90 and 91. I remember it was briefly mentioned in the late 90s before we moved from Brisbane that she was living around Hervey Bay.
