Adopted.com is proud to offer a country-wide Adoption Reunion Registry for Australia where you
can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In Queensland, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to access identifying information from the
government, unless a veto preventing access has been submitted.
A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Queensland Who Chose To Be Featured
196. Pingette : Mother came from Venlo Netherlands to Australia
Mother born 11 may 1952
197. Patriciajoy : My Name is Patricia Gibson , maiden name Gill I am looking for , my sister , born to a Maureen Joyce Schwerin, adopted out , unsure if she would have put father unknown on birth certificate . Also unsure where she was adopted from, but I was born in Dalby Queensland and lived there for my childhood, I was left with my father and Grandmother and our mother left Dalby pregnant , and adopted out the baby girl she had.
200. Michael19 : My mother went to Australia in 1950 and returned to England in 1955. I found out (after my mother passed away) that she had a daughter whilst she was in Australia, she moved around a bit staying in Melbourne,Brisbane and Hobart (Tasmania). I have checked government adoption depts in mainland Australia and there is no record of any adoptions with a birth mother named Dorothy Ward so I’m assuming that the birth was in Tasmania in 1953.
204. Caitlin1309 : Hi, I’m looking for my Mum or anyone with information.
I was born 13 of September 1995 at Roma hospital. My mum is named Paula was 22-25 when she gave birth to me, you wrote and left a letter to me and named me Ashleigh .You also gave me a soft toy koala when I was baby with you in the hospital before I was given away I still have it.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
