I’m a female that was born in the Salvation Army Hospital for unwed mothers called "Boothville", in Brisbane Queensland, Australia
on the 18th of August 1972.
I was told my biological mother was only 15 years old when I was born. She was medium build with long dark hair, brown eyes and aprox 5ft3 tall. My biological father was only 19 years old, aprox 6ft tall dark wavy hair with green eyes.
And then of course, I was adopted by a very kind, loving family approximately 2 weeks after I was born.
I really want to find out about any relevant significant medical history, BUT..... I’m desperate to find out what my biological family origins are. Where I come from. I’ve been asked my entire life by so many different people what my nationalty background is. And I’ve always then explained due to being adopted as a baby I only know that because I was born in Australia.... I am Australia.
TBH... I have really struggled not knowing where I come from. What is my culture ?, and to have a true sense of belonging. Do I have relatives I look like etc its something I believe people take for granted just knowing where their family originated from.
I’m not looking to disrupt your life nor do I want anything from you at all. Just some information if possible. AND I VERY MUCH UNDERSTAND THAT I AM PROBABLY A MASSIVE FAMILY SECRET. You dont even need to meet me or speak to me, you can even stay anonymous if you like. BUT PLEASE if you could somehow correspond with me in regards to the relevant medical history and my nationality background. That is what I really would love to know finally after 49 years of always wondering.
