677. CheyaneRoos95 : I am looking for one my younger brother who may have been adoption shortly after birth in Cairns around 2000. Not 100% sure on the birth date but I had to put something on the profile.
679. Annie68 : Born in Brisbane‚ 29/06/2968. Birth mother’s name is Shirley (maybe Baldwin). Shirley may have been from the UK. Was living on the Gold Coast at the time of the birth.
681. NRS1971 : Looking to discover my great uncle’s story and any possible descendants. He was born Hector Robert Caplin on 20 Dec 1904 in Rockhampton Women’s Hospital to my great grandmother Elizabeth Caplin. His birth certificate has a note saying married 1931 under the surname Graham so presuming he was adopted by a family of this name and I believe he married Ellen Maloney. If I have the census records right he lived until at least 1977 in Rockhampton and worked at the meat works most of his life. Can’t find a death certificate but would love to know a bit more about him if anyone knew him. Thank you
686. Edenmariee : Hi‚ I’m looking for my paternal grandparents.
My father‚ John‚ was adopted in January 1974 only 16 days after he was born at the Royal Women’s hospital in Brisbane.
His birth mother was 21 years old and his birth father was 22. His mother also had another son born in 1971.
689. Sweetpea295 : We have found her father but don’t know who her mother is.
Anyone knowing any info about a birth in Brisbane on the date above with the father being Murray Luke‚ please contact me. We’d love to find you and see if there are any more brothers and sisters around!
690. RobQLD : I am seeking information about my Grandmother as DNA (ancestry) doesn’t indicate any links to the her Alleged mother Ethel Jordan Golby or her alleged father William Roe. It may also be possible that Ethel Jordan Golby adopted 2 other children Edna Phoebe 1927 and another Bertha Birth ?. Mavis has no birth certificate showing on Births deaths and marriages Qld.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
