Petite build. My birth father 6 feet tall, brown eyes dark brown/ black hair. I apperently had an older sister born before me, fostered out, then mother took her back after she had me and adopted me. I was low birth wieght.

Watson Mother lost son about six weeks before my birth, then Watson Mother came home with me as new born. Any info greatly appreciated. Mothers Will confirmed I am not her legitimate child.

Father: Gordon Douglas Bird (RAAF)
Mother: Rose Emily Bird (Nee Gordon) passed away on 27/2/1946.Leaving behind 5 Children aged from 9yrs to 2.yrs. Evelyn May being the youngest. Her Adoptive Father was stated to be a Waterside Worker on non identifying papers received and this was in 1991. At One time all siblings lived in The St. Vincents Nudgee Orphange Brisbane as father was unable to cope taking care of children. Eventually all lived with their Father and His Parents except Evelyn They all resided in Alfred Street The Valley. Any Information would be most Grateful. I am a First Cousins on her father’s side and she has always been in our thoughts ever since I can remember being told by my mother of her existence.
339. Lorraine5473 : The only information I have the child was born on the 1/3/1940 in Queensland maybe in one of the hospitals in the Brisbane area. When our Dad passed away some years ago in his old personal papers there was a letter from his Solicitor stating that they still had in their possession A Full Certified Birth Certificate in their possession dated as above.
341. Whiskers30 : I have been researching my Family Tree since 1994. The adopted person was adopted by one of my Ancestors (Albert John Lubke).
I met the lady in question quite a few times as Annie Heck. I also found that she had signed the Death Certificate of Albert John as a witness and the adopted daughter of the deceased in 1951. My Ancestor who adopted her was born on 22/07/1868 and died on 21/07/1951.
I would like to know when the adoption occurred and any other information which I might be able to use in the Family Tree.
