631. KStevens : My father is David Stevens and I was told that when he was around the age of 17 (1966) he got a teenage girl pregnant. Because of the times‚ the baby was given up for adoption. I only found out as an adult and would like to find her. I was told it was a girl‚ and apparently when I was a child (maybe around the 90s) a woman came and knocked on the door to try meet dad‚ but my father turned her away. I don’t want to turn her away‚ I want to meet her.
632. DeirdreMargary : I am searching for my half sister on my biological father’s side. His name is Chester John Byrnes and he lives in the Ballina/Lismore area of New South Wales. I believe my half sister’s name could be Margaret‚ Donna or Alana. My biological mother’s name is Kerrin Byrnes. She reunited with my birth after being separated for 55 years and they are now married. Kerrin was a 16 year old schoolgirl and lived with her parents in Lismore. She was sent to St. Mary’s Home for unwed mothers in Brisbane‚ Queensland for the last stage of her pregnancy. I was born at the Ashgrove Private Hospital in Brisbane.

634. Allymay23 : My half brothers‚ mother’s name was Daphne Russell‚ who lived in Tambo Qld. Fathers name was John Holmes of Tambo Qld. John’s birthday date is the 28/06/1930. John was born in Tambo hospital‚ and was a twin. I am not sure if the baby was born in Blackall Qld‚ or Brisbane Qld. John Holmes is still alive‚ but doesn’t know anything except the baby was a boy. Daphne Russell‚ was killed in a car accident‚ a few years ago‚ before one could find out more information. Thank you.
635. Angeharper1 : I am looking for my sibling‚ younger brother born at the RWH in Brisbane in 1978. Our biological mother’s name is Denise. I am not sure of his exact date of birth but he would be 46 years old.

AlwaysThinking : I was told that my mother became pregnant when she was around fourteen years old and was moved to Monto (Qld) for around five months and subsequently gave birth to a child (gender unknown) whilst she was in Monto‚ and that child was adopted out. I believe it would have been around 1963‚ 1964 or 1965. My mother was then flown home back to her family in NSW on a DC3 aeroplane.

638. Shane1970 : Hi my names Shane I was adopted in 1970 and have recently found out I have a sister who was also adopted in 1971. Her name was Tammy Cheree White at birth born at Royal women’s hospital Brisbane 15/11/1971 (name changed we think to Anne Davidson). Our mothers name was Jeanette Merle White and we also had an older sibling Paul Bernard white DOB 19/4/1962.

640. SacredFeminine9 : Born at Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital‚ 25th April‚ 1972. My birth mother named me Peta. She’s listed living at Woollongabba‚ Brisbane at the time. She was around 19 at giving birth and the father was a few years older. She was shorter with green eyes and brown hair‚ the adoption agency said of German descent. The father was said by the adoption agency to have brown eye’s and olive skin‚ liked motorbike riding at the time‚ was a article clerk then. She was in business college‚ or secretary school. I think the birth mothers mothers name was Maree or Maria‚ mabye. I think I was in the hospital ward for a few months until my adoptive parents came for me.
641. CMB91 : My Father was born in 1962 at the Royal Brisbane woman’s hospital and was put up for adoption at just 9 days old. We would really like to find his Family we know his Mother was Only Young when she had him and born somewhere in the 1940s. We truly dont have much info to go on to narrow our search but hoping this will trigger someone to make contact with us and hopefully find our Family.
