I am interested in finding out about my birth mother, who I believe to be Noelene Elizabeth Hennessy at the time of my birth. I am married with 5 children and they would like to know more about their heritage. It stated also on my adoption papers my birth father was Thomas Hamilton Malouf. I am not sure if he was involved in the adoption or even new if I was born. Reading information about forced adoption it would be nice to let my birth mother know I had a great childhood brought up by two wonderful parents and an older sister who was also adopted and that if she had been searching for me I would consider making contact. Both my parents are still alive so I would like to be very discreet in any information provided. I would not want to disrupt any families especially if it was not shared with other family members.

85. 7JUL64 : My name is Julie Sarah Ward on the 20th March 1981 gave birth to a baby boy in Mater Mother hospital in Brisbane. Fathers name is Thomas Peter Wilson. I lived at 18 Henty Street Woodridge at time of birth with my parents Jeanette and Albert Ward. I named him Tristan James Ward. The adoption agency was in Brisbane. I was 17 at the time my date of birth is 7/1/64. I do not have much information regards father as we were not together long. I did write a letter and gave to the adoption agency and the time.

I have been haunted by this forced adoption all this time since his birth. The hospital I gave birth in was Maleny Hospital, Queensland, Australia. We were living near Maleny at the time. If you’re out there cherished son, you have one older sister and a twin brother. Also a nephew who is almost 18 y.o. We would all love to find out that you are alive, and to meet you if you are open to that. I’ve always loved you. And i’m so sorry if you have ever doubted that. You have certainly had cause to doubt. And that thought tears me apart. There are circumstances which caused this forced adoption, and others which have caused me to hang back till now. Please come forward Maleny boy. I love you either way.
