can meet by mutual consent whether you've accessed your adoption records or not. From Perth
to Brisbane and everywhere in between, if both parties want to meet then you can find each
other on Adopted.com!
In Queensland, adult adoptees (18 and over) are able to access identifying information from the
government, unless a veto preventing access has been submitted.

154. Ange1975 : Hi, I’m hoping to find any biological family members, the name given to me at birth by my biological mother was Tamara Smith (not my name given to me by my adoptive parents) I have a wonderful life but feel a little piece is missing and the only way to fix that will be to find my biological mother and any other family members interested in meeting me. Hopefully we find each other...........
155. Heather97 : I’m looking for my friend mother, my friend doesn’t know I’m doing this for her. We had a long talk about her mother tonight and she thinks that her mother has probably already pass. She is still unsure if she wants to meet or even talk to her mother but I honestly believe that she is ready. The only information that I got was that her mother name was Marion Edgar, she had one girl named Tracey before she had my friend who name is Felicity O’Berine. Marion a banded Felicity and then Felicity went into foster care. I’m pretty sure Felicity said one of her foster mother had adopted her. After Marion had Felicity she had 9 other children but only gave away felicity. Felicity did get her folder at the age of 18 and has met her father who didn’t knew that Felicity exist, Felicity father name was Tevor and he lives in Melbourne. Tevor doesn’t know where Marion where about is.
