Mum was a trained nurse originally from North Brisbane and passed away 15-20 years ago approx. Dad‚ my eldest brother‚ was a sound engineer at a Townsville radio station also originally from North Brisbane. I found out you existed when you reached out to your mum and vice versa‚ as your mum had an illness diagnosis. Thanks.

We know who her birth mother is and have been in contact with that side of the family however we have no idea who mums father is. I have done a dna test and have results the closest family that shows up are 3rd cousins to mum and I’m not sure how to go about finding her father without a lady name. She was described as 16 years of age‚ olive skin‚ brown eyes‚ brown hair and 5 feet 4 inches tall. Her occupation was waitress. Religion - Presbyterian. Birth fathers name is unknown‚ 20 years of age at the time‚ dark Australian‚ 5ft 6 inches tall‚ occupation of meat works. Special interests included basketball and swimming.

I am wanting to find out about either my Mother or Father who was 23 years‚ was from England‚ a clerk‚ and lived in Sydney NSW.
494. Vicessimus : My uncle‚ Mervyn Leslie St Clair of Brisbane‚ conducted a relationship (or was possibly married to) Margaret Joan Hansen and they had a son‚ Noel John around 1948-9. Margaret convinced Mervyn to adopt the child out. After he signed the papers his family were furious that they had lost all contact with him. It has been a mystery what has happened to him and I’m hoping to find out. The only Margaret Joan Hansen I can find was married since 1944 and that may be the reason she was keen to have him adopted out. She died in 2012.
