A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Alabama Who Chose To Be Featured
1396. JColvert22 : I am looking for my half-sister. She was born in Montgomery ‚ AL to my mother. Her birth name was Shelby Dismukes. She is mixed race‚ half white/half black.
1397. SGermick : I would love to know how my son made it in life.... I was very young when my mother forced me to go to an unwed home for mothers and give my child up for adjustment.
1399. C8Thomas : My name is Cynthia Thomas‚ and I am trying to help my adoptive daughter find her biological family. Cate just turned 25 years old‚ and in November of 2000‚ she was placed at a Birmingham area hospital under the Safe Place for Newborns Law. Cate has completed DNA searches on Ancestry and 23 & Me‚ but has only found more distant relatives
While we want to respect the anonymity provided by the Safe Place for Newborn Law‚ Cate is interested in finding out more about her medical history. She was recently diagnosed as diabetic‚ and as scary as that diagnosis can be‚ it was compounded by the fact that she could not provide any information regarding her family's medical history.
Cate would also love the opportunity to meet additional biological relatives if/when everyone is ready. While I can’t imagine what circumstances led to Cate’s placement at the hospital‚ I will always be thankful that decision blessed me with the opportunity to become Cate’s mom. She has grown into an amazing young lady who would make anyone proud.
1401. Sandrathompson1941 : my mother placed some children up for adoption between the years of 1968 and 1974. we were told there were 2 boys which has been confirmed through adoption records in montgomery Alabama. i would really love to find them. we did not know about them until after our mother passed away in 2000. its my understanding that they found one another and asked for a reunion with mom in 1995. i am not sure why she turned it down but would really like to have a chance of a relationship with them. there are 5 of us that would open our Hearts up to them. our mothers name was Ruby Louise Gossett Steeley and I would love to be able to tell them everything we know about our mom. She was a warm loving woman that would do anything for the people she loves. So believe me it was a shock to find this out after she passed. But my siblings and I would like to find them and share our lives with them. My name is Sandra Steeley Thompson I have an older brother Ricky a younger sister Rena and a brother named {Pnut} Earskin and our baby brother Wayne and we are willing to answer any questions they might have. Any information would be a blessing.
1402. Dakota33 : I am looking for my first born son ayden Lynn Lovelace he was adopted to a family in Colbert County Alabama i believe to the judges secretary at the time I would love to reunite or even a picture if possible he would be 13 now the last time I saw him he was 1
1403. DebBlevins : I am looking for Mandy Griffeth‚ she was the sweetest little girl‚ when her mother‚ Joann Griffeth now Hancock decided to give her up for adoption I tried to adopt her‚ but her mother's husband‚ Steve Griffith made her take her to Department of human resources and give her away‚ the baby was about 3. Joann and I were friends and the husband was embarrassed because he thought Mandy belonged to him‚ but she didn't and he somehow found out. I've always wondered how her life turned out and I hope she had a wonderful life
I am not sure about the month and date I clicked for her birthdate.
1404. Nastushe4ka : My name is Anastasia Yakovleva‚ born July 22‚ 2001‚ living in Saint Petersburg‚ Russia. I am registering to search for my biological sister.
Her name is Victoria Yakovleva‚ born November 21‚ 2004. According to the records I have‚ she was in Psychoneurological Orphanage No. 6 in Saint Petersburg‚ Russia‚ in 2006‚ and she left the institution on March 12‚ 2009‚ with a note indicating that she was adopted in the United States.
Her adoptive parents‚ according to my information‚ are U.S. citizens and possibly medical professionals (cardiologists). Unfortunately‚ I do not know the state where she was adopted or her current location.
Our parents:
Mother — Anastasia Yakovleva‚ born August 16‚ 1975‚ deceased January 4‚ 2005
Father — Dmitry Borisovich Tupitsyn (Nikolaev)‚ born July 26‚ 1974‚ deceased September 28‚ 2012
I am her only living biological sibling and can provide documents confirming our relationship if required. My goal is to legally and safely locate my sister and‚ if possible‚ establish contact with her adoptive parents‚ so they may voluntarily share information about her well-being or allow communication with me.
I am not requesting any confidential medical information or private details without the consent of the adoptive parents. I only seek guidance and assistance in connecting with her through legal and ethical channels.
Any help‚ advice‚ or recommendations you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you very much for your attention.
Sincerely‚
Anastasia Yakovleva
1406. Lap7050 : I was born Larrie Mae Evans‚ a white female‚ on 01/02/1966 at Army base Ft. Rucker‚ Dale‚ Alabama‚ to Larrie Lee Evans‚ a white female (03/03/1944)‚ and James William Evans (unknown date of birth). He was in the Army at the time. I found my mom‚ Larrie Lee Colyer-Evans‚ when I was 35‚ and we are very close now. I believe my dad‚ James‚ is deceased. I was adopted in Texas in 1972 by Aaron Douglas & Beverly Ann Nokes-Denman from Garland‚ TX. I believe I have found all the relatives‚ and I am just trying to find any records of the adoption‚ if possible. At some point between 1969 and 1972‚ I was moved through CPS. I was placed back with my bio-dad and step-mom‚ Betty. Abuse occurred‚ and I was taken away from him and out of elementary school in Howe‚ Texas‚ by the Sheriff's department and put into foster homes‚ never to see my bio dad again and I have no idea what ever happened to him or Betty or the three brothers that also lived in the home. I was eventually adopted in 1972 in Garland‚ Texas. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
1407. Taliah89 : I was not adopted ‚ but I know that my bio dad for sure had a son after me and the mother of the son had a daughter that he took in. They were both adopted by a couple i believe either in Florida or Alabama. I don't know they're names or ages. I do Know our dad's name and his mother and siblings. I just want the opportunity to know them and let them know that even though they don't know me I know of them and I didn't know my father and I just want them to know that whether they know him or of me that I know and I care and I want to get to know them
