A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Alabama Who Chose To Be Featured
451. RenaeWilson : I was lead to believe that I had a successful abortion (which I never wanted in the first place) for which I thank God didn’t work. Just learning from my oldest sister who had a guilty conscience now that she has been diagnosed with a brain tumor that my mother conspired with hospital staff and forged my name and had you adopted out without my permission. Seeking legal advice on my part to see what charged can be brought agaunst her.
452. Dani15 : My dad has a biological brother that was given up for adoption before he was born. From what I was told, his brother was given up between 1957-1961 supposedly in Alabama. I have very limited details, as my grandparents did not discuss the adoption and only shared a small bit of information with my dad. I also believe the adoption was through Catholic adoption service. His mother would have been about 19 when she gave birth. The names of my grandparents are David Tribble and Sandra Anderson. I know this is a long shot, but my dad and I hope to find his brother.
453. Zabbiegirl78 : Looking for my half brother (related through my dad). My half brother was named Steven David (after our father) and his mother was Debbie or Deborah Mann. I was told that he was given up for adoption around the age of 2 years old‚ possibly to a distant family member. Deborah Mann has a sister named Deanna Mann. I was told that my half brother’s birth date would be around Sept 1976. I think my half brother was born in Utah but could be wrong. I have no other siblings and would love to find you!
455. Grandsonsteve : Child was picked up in Birmingham, AL, so I assume the adoption agency was in Birmingham also. Adoptive parents were Clellan and Nita Walker, then living in small comminity in north Alabama. Child was named Gregory Dwayne Walker by adoptive parents.
456. Grandsonsteve : Child was picked up by adoptive parents (Clellan
and, Nita Walker) in Birmingham, AL, so assume adoption agency(?} was also located in Birmingham. Adoptive parents were then living in small community in extreme north Alabama.
Adoptive parents named the adopted child Gregory
Dwayne Walker.
459. ChiquitaBush29 : I was born chiquita laquala Bush in bayminette Alabama in 1994. I believe my mother was from Foley al. She was very young and I was told her name was Aretha not exactly sure how true that is. I’m 24 years old now and very much alive and would like to meet her and my siblings
460. Johnwilliamsfamily : I am looking for my younger brother who was born in 1977 in Dale County Alabama. I do not know his name or who he was adopted by, but I really want to find him. Our mother’s name is Debra Shipman, he has one older sister and brother and one younger sister and brother.
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
