I am not sure if the birth year was 1956 or 1957. Mother’s name Marlene Hayes she was 17 at the time of pregnancy.

I think Shallen’s name was changed to Shelly. They were born in Huntsville, AL most likely in Huntsville Hospital. I don’t know much information on Leigh (even if her name was spelled that way). Last name should have been Phillips. I’ve always wanted to find you, even if just to know that you are both happy. I do not know Leigh’s birthdate, but she was also born at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville Alabama possibly two years after Shallen.

29. Jessedbeck : My mother was adopted from a Catholic based adoption agency in the Montgomery, Alabama. The adoption occurred within a year of her birth on or around November 2, 1956. Not much is known of her birth parents other than the tale that they were a young couple and that perhaps were too young and or unprepared to raise a child at the time. My mother, having never been able to learn much of the adoption process from her adopted parent is now seeking to know more. I know the details are vague and I will update them as I become more informed but we do appreciate any assistance. Her birth name was allegedly Deborah Lynn Mallar and she was born in the Mobile, Alabama area. It may be a similar sounding last name but we just are not sure at this time.
