50. DaretoDream4 : I am a 33 year old male caucasian that lives in Florence, AL ( and always have). I have obtained little knowledge throughout the years about my biological mother and father. But what I do know and believe to be true to the best of my knowledge is that I was born in Huntsville, AL on March 10 of 1987. I was born at Humana hospital I’m pretty sure. And the agency that was used for the adoption was Catholic family services. My mother was young (I believe approximately 17 years old) when she actually gave birth to me. I was adopted very soon after being born to the most wonderful, loving parents who I believe actually kept contact with my biological mother via letters for a while before they eventually stopped. I am not sure (and neither are they) as to why they did. So I am not even sure if she is alive. But if my biological mom is out there, I would love to meet her. Regardless, at this point I don’t care what exactly happened in the past and don’t care to drag their past decisions and emotions into this, I would just like to know something that could tell me who my Mother is and maybe even if I have any siblings out there so (if they were willing as well) we could connect the broken link in our blood line and I can know for sure where I come from. I do know however due to someone in the legal department between my parents attorney and my biological mother’s attorney and the Catholic family services someone made a mistake and accidentally printed off a form that gave my biological name that I was given by my biological mother and that name is "Joshua or Joseph E. Duff" (I cant remember which first name it is and don’t have the form in front of me). From the additional paper work, my father at the time of my birth was a plumber of sorts and 21 years of age. My mother lived with her brother at the time she was pregnant and was a bit distant from her mother and father due to her mothers alcoholism. I don’t want to give all the private information out in public but gladly will answer any questions if anyone else has any. But I do know that my mother’s family resided from the Florida area.
