A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within Alabama Who Chose To Be Featured
91. JakeH_28 : I am searching to find the biological parents of Stephen Michael Green.
92. Mjsmommy : I was born at Huntsville hospital in Huntsville‚AL
93. Jxn85 : Was born on the morning of Feb. 12, 1985 at St. Vincents in Birmingham, AL. It was snowing. Adopted at birth. Looking for my mother.
94. Allie37 : I was born in Birmingham, Alabama My birth family may have been from Tuscaloosa, Alabama. My last name was Clark My mother should be around 51 years old
95. Allie37 : Born in Alabama in 1980 with the birth name April Clark. My mother was very young. I have waited 37 years to find out if I have brothers or sisters.
96. Luke1961 : Hi. I had a son outside of marriage that was born in June or July 1993. I am unsure about in which state the adoption was performed. He was conceived in Meridian, MS, but likely does not know that. I saw him once for about 15 minutes at ,2 weeks of age. He had straight brown hair, like his birth mother. (I have dirty blonde hair and blue eyes.) A Mormon social services agency handled the adoption. (His birth mother was Mormon.) Supposedly he was adopted to a military officer couple the wife had a Recreation-type degree. The birth mother had roots in S. Alabama and E. Mississippi, while also living at times in E. Tennessee and Salt Lake City. Her maiden name is Karin Buckner, but has had surnames of Fischer and Dailey at times. (She has been married at least once,) I think she has a daughter, born some years after the boy I’m writing about. Further, by way of possible genetic indicators: I have O+ blood, am 5’9", have a very stocky build, hate hot food, ran long distance in high school, have done a lot of long-distance hiking, have VERY wide hands, thin (but strong) arms, fairly thick legs, flat wide feet (124E), am very near-sighted, have a face that (sadly) resembles Elton John, have a VERY hairy back (straight dark hair), have always been very much into reading, and am a scientist by way of profession. I am right-handed, a hint of overly bent spine, lots of very light freckling, with no allergies. I am immune to poison ivy, like most males on my father’s side. The birth mother was somewhat short (,5’3"?) and VERY slender. I have other children (one daughter, born Jan. 1994 and two daughters born July 2012). I would welcome contact from him, or, if he is (God forbid) deceased, from his birth mother or his adoptive family.
97. ToddColeman : It was told to me that i was born in Leeds Alabama. Not sure if true or not but also my name was Joseph Smith when i was In child/foster care. Also it was told when i was born i was left at a fire department with no information attached.
98. LauraVStakelum : My birth name was Faith Marie Bailey. My birth mothers name was Pamela Kay Bailey. I was born in Birmingham, AL in 1981. My birth father was a musician but I don’t know his name.
99. Christopher1945 : I was adopted from a Catholic Children’s Home in Mobile, Al. The adoption was facilitated by a Catholic priest, Father Ralph. My adoptive parents were Velma and Frank Madonia. I was adopted at just over a year old. I have been told my mother was an English teacher and my father was a Merchant Seaman from Nova Scotia. My birth name is Christopher Marion Williams, and the adoptive name I was give is Ralph Anthony Madonia.
100. Fransioli1 : Helping child look for birth mother.
101. Littlefeet256 : I am looking for a sister my mom had either 2-3 years after me (1956). I was told her first name is DeDe Lou (sp?). Her adopted grandmother’s name was Ethel. I believe Cecil Nix in Carbon Hill knew the family that adopted her, but not sure if they were kin to him. My home town was Carbon Hill. I believe Mom was put in a home for unwed mothers. She gave the baby up the day she was born. Maybe she was born in Fayette, Jasper or Birmingham, not sure. Mom said she would unseal the adoption papers, but she is not able to travel now. I have put this off all these years to avoid upsetting her. She promised she would never try to contact Dede Lou. Mom will not tell me the name as of yet, but I might try one more time.
102. PrinceOfosu : I am looking for a caring mother
103. Charles0611 : I think birth father is : William Henry Miller and birth mother is: Sarah Sue Crump Sarah’s sisters: Ruth Crump and Para Lee Crump I was born and adopted in a southern state
104. Vaquera : Mothers maiden name: Sainz, possibly Virginia Sainz, Adopted name at birth Gilbert Edward Garcia, Hospital: Presbytarian Intercommunity Hospital in Whittier, California, Doctors first name was Gilbert. Born 10/31/1959
105. PIBaker : I am looking for a male who was born January 1969. He may have been adopted in Nebraska or in Iowa. We were told that he did try to reach out to my mother years ago. The siblings are looking to connect with him. My mother called him John, but not sure this would be of any help. He was born at Methodist Hospital.
