A Few of Our Members Currently Searching Within South Korea Who Chose To Be Featured
856. EunSunLee : Hi!
Searching for family members. My birth mom was 18 years old when she had me. I was born in 1986… so I am assuming she may have had children when she was older? Looking for any siblings out there! My birth mom grew up in Yonsan-Gu‚ South Korea. I was adopted to the USA from Holt International Adoptions. Looking forward to finding anyone :).
857. Jandikeum77 : I am looking to see if I have any biological siblings. I was born January 15 1977‚ adopted through
Eastern Social Welfare Society Inc. Information says I was born in Daejeon.
858. Rachele14 : My uncle fathered a child while serving in the US Army in South Korea‚ sometime between 1979 and 1983. He was a military policeman.
I believe that my cousin would be of mixed heritage‚ white and Korean. I don’t know the gender or name of the child‚ or if they were adopted or raised solely by their mother. My father knew the name of the child’s mother‚ but he died before sharing that information. My cousin’s mother came to the United States (Wilmington‚ Delaware) before my cousin was born to try to get my uncle to be a father for his child. Because of this‚ I am uncertain if my cousin was born in the United States‚ or if their mother returned to Korea and gave birth there.
My uncle has shown no interest in connecting with any children he fathered while in the military‚ however‚ this child has two siblings‚ a sister born in 1984 and a brother born in 1993. The sister would cherish the opportunity to connect with her lost sibling. We would love to share health history and bring our family together.
859. Klature : MeeNa possibly gave birth to me at Choonhae Hospital 605 Jungang-daero‚ Busanjin-gu‚ Busan‚ South Korea on April 08‚ 1998.
I was with a foster family and foster mom Ah Soon Moon until I was adopted by an American family on April 15th‚ 1999.
862. FlowerBloom01 : My adoption is an open adoption. However‚ I honestly have no ties to anybody. I have zero information about who my birth parents were (are) and I want to find them. My Korean last name was Cho. That’s all I know aside from my birth taking place somewhere in Incheon. I don’t even know the agency. I was adopted when I was almost 5 months old. I think my birth parents were around 5’2-5’5. My birthday is Feb 8th‚ 2001.
866. Nicmeans : I was abandoned in Paju county South Korea and moved into a foster home in South Korea by Korean Welfare Services in 1976 and then adopted by an American family. My original family name is Ahn Dong and Korean name is Myung Soon Kim. I have always wanted to locate my birth parents. I think my mother tried to keep me and had no choice to leave me behind when I was 3 years old. Additionally‚ I did not have the best upbringing by my adopted parents to say the least. I went to South Korea recently and did a DNA test with the police there. I pray to meet them one day. Thank you!
869. Bguthri : My birth name was Choe Il Sup and was born in Seoul‚ South Korea. My birth mother‚ Choe Eun Young (birthday: Jan 20th 1970) gave me up for adoption to the US in 1993. I was adopted through KSS into a small town in PA through Eckels Adoption Agency
I was matched with my birth mother just minutes after setting up my profile. It turns out that she had been searching for me for years. It's been a joy to connect with her and the rest of my biological family.
